So without advertising forums, or calling out anyone on this forum, what types of members do you dislike? I have a constant problem with a certain member on another board. He is simply a **** a lot. A new member will join and he will be right there to constantly ***** about everything the new member does. I guess he thinks that this makes him a candidate for a staff position, even though it's obvious it doesn't since everyone else hates him too. He refuses to use the report button, but will shout (in caps) what everyone is doing wrong in every thread. Anyway, yeah. Edited by Cal, Aug 22 2011, 03:06 AM.

Interesting thread, lets hope it stays nice and clean. I hate people that deliberately misquote or misinterprete what you said so as to validate a point of theirs, or unvalidated a point you made. I hate members that, in a debate situation, reply to half of the points you made and ignore the ones they can't respond convincingly to and still seem convinced they're on top of you. Yeah. Those are the main two. |

This whole SITE is rogues house, she made that area so people could kick it and spam a lam in there. If you were out of line she'll call you on it. Ive talked to rogue on more than one occasion she seems to have her ***** straight. Im not even DEFENDING her, just saying what's real. pelador is right, as his insight into the human mind is unique, he tends to speak what he thinks. I HATE TROLLSSSSS!!!  My straight forwardness in times of need isnt appreciated by EVERYONE, but i try to keep it real and practice what i preach. Man, it ISNT easy, maintaining your point of view and changing your mind every 5 minutes, debating DBZ. OP: Complaining about new members doing what? thats sounds weird just saying it. Even though i dont interact with EVERYONE, i do tend to comment on your sometimes deep and thought provoking threads, can you give a hint? i gotta admit, im curious. I am though, I'm better than all of the mods put together as well, I'm just that awesome  Anyway, jokes aside, I don't want to see this topic stray into areas of discussing members on this forum, as the opening post suggests, keep it civil, else someone will be along to close it if it gets out of hand. Types of members I don't like though? Anyone who thinks they are better than another person, in terms of whatever, just generally thinking they are better. But I try to get on with everyone on a forum, any forum, I'm not out to make enemies. |

I guess I can go more into detail... Most forums I visit are larger than this one, therefor they have a different way of separating threads. The method they use is tags. The idea is that you tag every thread you make with a specific keyword, like "sports" or "entertainment". New members aren't aware of this because very few forums have to use tags, when a new member joins and fails to tag their threads he goes off, cursing, minimodding all because a new member forgot or didn't know how to tag a thread. We also utilize our blog function. We have (very recently) made a fine line between personal life threads and blog posts. When a new member doesn't understand the line made and uses the wrong function he goes off. He is the worst type of member in my opinion. I'm a firm believer that you meet new members with open arms and help them along the way. I disagree with over-critisizm that is made for self gain, especially toward newer members. I don't try to provoke anyone with anything. If I say something there is no secret meaning, it is directly written to be understood in one way, and I usually only post if that is clear. I see nothing wrong with that thread either, it was fun to discuss and there were no problems. But, I guess everyone's opinion varies. Edited by Cal, Aug 22 2011, 04:55 AM.

no, dont get me wrong, there was nothing wrong with the thread, it was just limited to YOUR imagination thats all. A thread like that has to involve MANY people to get correct info or any idea of a label they want to see themselves as being a contribution in. In that thread you gave people an idea of WHAT they contribute or made them think at least, i didnt agree, but it DID make me think. One of the reason i come back here. i like what goes on here. On my car site i tend to be the open arms guy, alot of the other members are in for the flame war on a nooby, but then again? we get noobs to the car game talking that vin diesel bull****. They want answers and they DONT want to find it for themselves. Those people get flamed cause they deserve it, but if someone coming here wants to learn about dbz? then this is the place. I am better than you though. Not because I'm a mod on DBZF, but, because I just am. I'm better than everyone. And I'm not kidding. I'm THAT conceited.  The #1 thing that annoys me as a mod are members who argue with warns just because they think they are entitled to a pass on the rules because they were simply trying to state their opinion (run on sentence ftw). There are many more acceptable ways of making your point without being an insulting jackass. One banned member springs to mind on this one... Oh, and rulebreakers who teeter constantly on the line of getting banned and not getting banned. It's an elegant form of trolling and the same banned member was very, very good at it. Obviously, they let themselves get banned. As a member, my least favorite people are staff kiss asses and generally creepy people. I'm not sure how to explain the last one... it's just that feeling of "if I knew you in person I'd constantly be afraid you'd kill me in some weird, exotic way... such as being choked with a slinkie or drowned in milk". Unless you like strangling people with children's toys, I think you're good.  There's also some people that really REALLY piss me off, but, the amount of annoying characteristics they have could go on for a whole book. |

Whatever, I find people who constantly rant about nothing annoying, people who wnt let an argument that died ages ago end, and in general people who act godly. I mean...Necifix IS godly, fershure, no doubt. But other people who claim that dope bruda'? Aint no way this rappa be sidin' wid 'dem peoplez all getting up in mah grill, bruv. Proper grammer verson, I dont like people who pick a person to troll and stalk and annoy on a site and never leave You alone. |
