Funi Japanese I couldn't find the actual clip in Japanese but comparing the music. The japanese music just doesn't fit imo, it feels much more epic in the Funi.

When I watch the Japanese version, it's a moment that is filled with shock and seriousness. You take Dragon Ball as if it were a typical American superhero show with corny jokes in the late 90s, when in fact it is an explosive shonen series filled with suspense, spirit and humor

So if I like it better as it's done in that style then I still like that scene better in Funi. Goku killing Buu is different in both versions due to the music but I love them both, Funi gave off the "Buu's going doooown" feel while the original Japanese was like "It's finally coming to an end"

I didn't realize that Frieza was supposed to have a dreamy voice? He's a Lizard Tyrant, he should have an abrasive voice. Goku was perfect, Perfect Cell was... well... PERFECT. Bruce Faulconer's music fit perfectly as well. I can't watch the Japanese version because A) I don't understand it. I'd rather not be reading the whole time, it kinda takes away from the scenes. B) I don't care what you say, they sound girly. Chris Sabat's Vegeta voice was so burly and manly, that is truly Vegeta to me. I can't take it seriously when they power up and scream like they have no testosterone coursing through their veins in the slightest. Do Saiyan's not have balls? EDIT: Ocean was a joke. Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Dragon Ball	They are not girly, if you compare them to the actual females, you'll notice that nozawa's voice is the voice of a little boy (which goku pretty much is). Perfect Cell was not good at all. Don't get me started on Freeza. God, funimation turned Freeza into an obnoxious old woman making corny jokes to cover up the fact that she's a bitter old bat. At least Ocean dub respected pronounciations. Its problem was overly generic voices based on appearance, bad acting and unusual music. Funimation did all three (to a lesser extent). Which is why ocean was the worst
