Regarding the Earth-Goku went to Namek and that made Freeza come to the Earth. Cell was created to kill Goku.

Google Chrome and Firefox	No one voted, but I did on Chichi's worrying about her children. I think if Chichi was more like she was in dragonball and allowed Gohan to train from the beginning DBZ would be a whole other ball game. Gohan had everything to become the strongest fighter. He had the genetics, the race, and the intelligence. By the time cell saga rolls around, I feel Gohan would have surpassed Goku and beaten Cell pretty easily.

That was Vegeta's number one thing. His main asset. Stripping Vegeta of that would make a whole new character. He would lose his characteristics. He wouldn't be the same. Same with Goku. It just wouldn't be Dragon Ball Z without it.
