If we dont control ourselves we arent any better than animals. I was saying that it seems obvious you are on the fence, its a struggle not many people forget. I havent, and i WAITED till 16. Based on what the others have said, i can understand that you are defensive, but there isnt any need. I understand that you have placed a low priority on sex, and considering you have plans an unexpected preganacy wont fit in there, right? right. We all have different venues from our experiences to approach this type of topic. I honestly dont think this should be a debate but sharing. apparently i did misinterpret what you wrote, but thats easily corrected. I guess when you said women need to stand up and make firm decisions, it kind of sounded like women are pressured into having sex in general. All i wanted to say was thats not true. Otherwise you are your own person. Once people start taking actual responsibility for their actions? this world be on the road to healing. Until then we seem to like shifting blame for everything these days on others. i know females that work SO hard at NOT taking responsibility for their actions its easy to assume that tends to be most peoples angle. Especially when everyone EXPECTS the girl to right and pure not knowing shes the cause for the mess. I don't think she MEANS for her standards to apply to everyone elses. This is a personal opinion topic, not one about what is and isn't right. So, of course she'd be talking like that. I agree there are some double standards that were made and it does seem borderline sexist against men. But I purposely did not go into a big rant about that simply because it is personal opinion and opinions are always flawed. True, some are less flawed than others, but, there are flaws in every opinion. In a topic such as this, there tends to be a greater likelihood for a more flawed opinion.

I stopped posting in this topic because I could tell some people were getting offended with my views. I got 7 likes on one of my posts so maybe there are people who agree with me. Think of it as a matching card game, where we find our suitable match. But there are also those who don't play by the rules. Reasons can be fame and fortune and other stuff. If I had to choose, I would like to be with an "otaku" girl who has the same interests as me.
