So, basically, just say what kind of looks/personality you like. I.e. gamer girls, the barbie doll look, leather-jacket wearing hoodlum, whatever... Personally, I don't like "hot" girls, like girls with large assets and or barbie doll faces. I prefer a simple cute/pretty look and a unique personality. Like this girl is a girl that I wouldn't consider "hot" or whatever, but she caught my eye because I think she's absolutely beautiful. Nothing perverse at all, I just get a butterfly feeling when I see her. Don't know who she is, wish I could meet a girl like that. Probably not, one can dream though... I want an adventurous companion. I plan on going to Japan the second I graduate and would love to have someone to share the experience with. That being said, I also plan on visiting various the parts of the world before I die. Attraction is a deciding factor in all relationships. It may not be everything, but once you're old enough to look at potential partners as more than just body parts, you realize that the body parts are still an area of concern. Exotic is my type, Ive never been into the Girl next door type, prob. do to the fact Im from brooklyn. I love girls from DR, Columbia, brazil, Cuba, idk I love girls with curly hair im not a fan of straight hair. Height really doesn't matter for me, Im 6'3 so it really doesn't matter. Personality wise I like a chick that could just chill, like we dont hava go out to have a good time. We can just play 2k, or put on a movie and were good. She had to be active at school I talk to mostly dance majors so activity a big one for me. Drug free, I dont like girls that blaze, drinking is cool but I hate when girls ask me if they can blaze with me its a turn off. Its like if you see a girl smoking a cigar. idk. Generally just fun to be with no matter where we are at. |

Hm. I like girls who are very self motivated, in touch with their life and knowing where they want to go in it. Goal driven. Look wise, we are all beautiful the way we were created in a variety of ways! |

I'm a fire type. lol jk I like girls who are shy. Not to make a stereotype but almost every shy girl I know has a very nice and kind personality but are too shy to publicly express it. That's mostly what I care about. Sure, looks are an important factor, but I think that a girl with a very nice personality that isn't too attractive in the looks department is better than a girl who is very attractive but has a detestable personality. Cliche, I know. And yeah, Natural is much better. Make-up just makes me cringe sometimes. |

Ultimately, we're all exposed to similar ways of classifying good personality traits and attractiveness. Whenever I consider the type of girl I like, the image of a major crush I had during high-school always pops into my head. Perhaps it's the same for other people? That we construct standards based off specific people rather than some abstract idea.

I'm not going to lie. I can be a bit shallow but at the end of the day if the girl doesn't have a personality, I wouldn't even consider going with her. I think looks and personality are equally important. In regards to looks, I don't mind the hair colour but they just have to have a nice figure and face. Hair colour can either compliment a girls looks or ruin it. It just depends. |

It's natural and healthy to avoid settling for someone you're not physically attracted to. Also, the word 'personality' is a little arbitrary, it would probably be more accurate to say 'dull'. Common preference is that we want someone who is eye-candy and entertaining. Basically what you said. The definition of these two aspects are quite variable; they can be as broad or specific as the individual allows. That's the theory anyway. can't say I noticed her nose, but I don't see anything wrong with it. I still think she's amazing. Noses aren't something I care much about though, unless it's deformed, looks like a leprechaun nose or maybe missing completely. I can understand if someone does care about someones nose, like I irrationally care about the way feet look. It doesn't matter if I'm super-attracted to a girl, if she has ugly feet my attraction to her would be damaged severely. But to me, the attraction of ones feet is based upon what nail polish a girl is wearing. I find nail polish, especially in colors I find unattractive, like green, blue, red or black, a huge turn-off. Ugh... Really, what's the point? It's so gross. |

i learned a long time ago not to judge too quickly over body type. i typically prefer athletic/voluptuous women, but lately i've been on a flat chest thing (not small breast, completely flat chest), and any random woman might catch my eye at any time, depending on who knows what. for men, i prefer tall with developed but not bulging muscles, bald or short hair, and a lean build. for personality, i like people like me. for example, i don't feel the need to constantly talk or interact, and the most annoying thing in the world are people who try to force conversation when i'm not even mentally there. |
