When I was a kid I used to look at bugs and stuff including ladybirds which are beetles and nobody minded. did you draw pictures of yourself kissing the bugs?

My mom will walk in my room, see the amazingly hot drawings and posters hanging everywhere, and be like "who the heck is that ugly cartoon dude?" Glad to know at least one person understands what hot anime guy fetish.

I lived a double life at school i was the "class clown type", but always got good grades and stuff. My parents dont really care what I wanna do as long as I do it will really good grades, but I know what you mean. When I was picking a major before going to college I want to study classics and latin but my parents said I would make no money. And they like pushed architecture but in the end i agreed that latin woulnt give me the future I wanted or desired and I picked architecture and I love it. But when it comes to my hobbies my parents dont care as long as it donest interfere with my future.

I was closed minded and conceited about liking some anime. My school had alot of guidos, Jersey Shore kind of people with Jersey Shore attitudes. High School was all about keeping up your rep, being fake, following trends. You don't know how much money I wasted on trends, gadgets, food, alcohol, gas, fads, then of course my own personal needs and wants etc. even until this day. I'm not at all proud. My mother always wanted me to go to school, still pressures me to go to university and earn a degree in Engineering or Law, but I can't because I don't want to. I've tried attestation and introductionary college courses. I'm good at it, I study but I don't like working nin an office. I prefer working in construction, I like it, I'm good at it. Yet my mother thinks it makes me a bum. It doesn't matter though, only God judges me, not anyone else. I personally don't mind working the way I do, actually I love it. I love waking up and being a part of something. When I work I feel like I'm a part of something and that the work needs me as much as I need to get paid.

It's actually one of the career choices I've been considering. Architecture is great, I love it however is it not for everyone. It is overwhelming at times, it is extremely demanding, you will be pulling all nighters and the teacher will sometimes completly rip your project, but when you do have a good project and the teachers like it and you like it, that is the best feeling in world to make something and see that other people understand. It is just like any art there are many critics that bring your day down, but you only become better. On another note, it is very hard to balance architecture with a personal life. Many people ether drop out or have no social life, I choose neither. I went out partied met people because college is not only about academics its about meeting people that will be your life time friends. My parents always say this is gonna be the funnest time of my life so I plan to live it up with out messing up my future. So instead of giving up a socail life or droping out of school, I gave up sleep lol. Architecture is just about time management, surprisingly im tremendously bad at time management lol, however if you make a schedule and keep to it, you should be fine. Its incredibly hard but rewarding P.s. Im happy to answer any more questions about college or architecture just pm me.

Posts: 9,150 Group: Member Member #5,265 Joined: September 24, 2010 Gender Not Specified Favourite Anime dragonball/z/gt/movies What Browser do you use? internet explorer or firefox	just the other week, while at my grandparents' house, my grandmom complained to my mom about how i sat on the couch playing ds games all day. of course, i pinted out that that's no worse than her sitting in her chair watching cooking shows all day (she can't even eat because of her trach, so what's the point?), and that the whole reason i was even there was to take care of her, so she should be happy i had my own entertainment source instead of taking over the t.v., since i was the one going out of my way to help her. a little unrelated, but both her and my granddad are both constantly getting on to me about my weight, and yet not only do they keep their houses stocked with junk, but they offer it to me every time i'm over there, and leave it out in the open where i can see it, even though they know i can't stand to look at food and not eat it. back to gaming. my mom doesn't care, as long as i never by a game over 20$ (yeah right), and she doesn't have to hear them or about them.

Although I think that's only to be expected in life. Generally, people who don't share another person's interests, beliefs, culture, etc. will criticize and provoke that individual since they cannot understand or fathom what they aren't accustomed with, and simply don't want to understand or become more oriented with it.
