Fusion /= Power Many of things can be fused and yet not gain any powers. Also the act of "fusion" is not to gain new power but rather to make a new form.

Goten and Trunks' power levels were multiplied MANY MANY times to achieve the level of Gotenks. This is the EFFECT of fusion. Here you go once AGAIN, trying to call into play what a word means. I'll post the meaning of "Fusion" fu·sion/ˈfyo͞oZHən/ Noun: The process or result of joining two or more things together to form a single entity. That's it......it means a single entity So in essence the "greater effect" actually just mean he's more of a balanced/fuller fusion then Gogeta. All of it is then based on our opinions.

What are you talking about? I just quoted you what METAMORAN FUSION's EFFECT was. We know for a FACT, that Potara fusion's effect is GREATER than metamoran Fusion. So, where is the difficulty in understanding this? How many words do you want to dispute in DBZ??? Also, there is no "Greater Effect" you're making things up, it's a sentence. I'll just say Pottara is a better Fusion than Fusion dance. The "greater effect" applies to the character's strength, power, and Fusion. That's all I was getting by to you some how it got all tangled up some where.

Since Goku has stated what the effect of Metamoran fusion is, we have a basis to establish what Potara's fusion effect will be. The only real big factor obviously being power. Now, I will take a step down from one of my theories that KP has argued. I do think Gogeta would get a rival boost as well, but it would be to a lesser extent.(See Elder kai's statement about Potara fusion's effects being greater than fusion) So, in conclusion? SSj Gogeta would prolly roflstomp Gotenks Buu, but not on the level of SSj Vegetto
