Posts: 2,751 Group: Members Member #6,334 Joined: June 9, 2011	Episode 98 did not air on TV in Japan but it is on the recently released Japanese DVD/Blu-Ray. This is the last episode of Kai. (Wow they cut about 100 episodes of filler content) Well in this episode we see Trunks save his future and for the remainder of the episode we get a recap. The recap goes through everything that happened in Kai and the Other World Tournament. The other world tournament? Pikkon filler? WTF? True to the manga my *** Toei just put this crap in to fill the remainder of the episode. Kind of shows how much they care about the show. Dragonball Kai was a piece of ***. Just a rehashed piece of * with ARGUABLY worse voice acting than the original. Dragonball Z Kai however is the best thing to happen to western DBZ. Dragonball Z Kai however is the best thing to happen to western DBZ. I agree and its because Funimation saw this as an opportunity to redeem themselves. Now with the Kikuchi score its kind of like the accurate English Z Dub we never got.

Anyway I don't really care, I was never a huge fan of Kai to begin with. I mean yeah I like it because it's DB but it was never anything special to me, it was just a way for Toei to make money without giving us anything new. Edit: I guess Ocean Dub's music wasn't too bad for that scene, which is strange since I usually hate ocean dub lol Quote: To use the booklet for toilet paper. Posts: 2,751 Group: Members Member #6,334 Joined: June 9, 2011	The Yamamoto plagiarism crap. They removed all of the Yamamoto tracks just to be safe even though only like 2 or 3 were plagiarized. Still better than the complete silence they had on the English Kikuchi track for Z. They also played this I'm guessing for a rerun they replaced the music. This version will NOT be used because the song is mono. They're only allowed to use the stereo Kikuchi tracks on the home release. Edited by Ani-Nation, Aug 6 2011, 05:30 PM.

Posts: 244 Group: Member Member #6,185 Joined: May 12, 2011 Favourite Anime Dragonball	Haha cuz its crap, all they did with it was half ***** re-do it to milk people thats all. its pure garbage and sure Its a good thing that it got new fans but your better off to just watch it in its original form like it was from 1988, not with cheesy noticeably reanimation used for the excuse "oh the show was damaged" it wasnt dameged the dragonbox's look fine, and too much filler cut is a bad thing it ruins character development and alot of great scenes are taken out.
