Dr. Bardock is a brilliant scientist under the employ of Freeza who developed a technique that simulates the moon, allowing Saiyans to transform in the absence of a real moon. He is the father of Goku.

While he and his team of scientists were conducting field work on Planet Kanassa, Dr. Bardock developed visions of the future in which he witnessed Freeza destroying his home planet. Freeza's elite Vice President of Operations Mr. Dodoria and a team of executives ambushed Dr. Bardock's team in their laboratory and destroyed it. Mr. Dodoria explained that Freeza was worried that Saiyan science was advancing to the point where Saiyans could rebel against Freeza's technology monopoly and establish their own company. Mr. Dodoria fired Dr. Bardock and ordered him to leave.

Dr. Bardock tried to get his fellow intellectuals at Saiyan University to lead a rebellion against Freeza, but they refused under the grounds that Freeza was providing funds to the university.

Dr. Bardock challenged Freeza to a fight, but due to Dr. Bardock being only an average fighter, Freeza effortlessly slaughtered the scientist.

I'm not sure if I should move this to the spam section or keep it here. Can it produce actual discussion outside of spam?

I don't think they were ever planning to go that far with the DBZ series in America.
What do you think?
