I,

watched Dragonball, Z and GT growing up. Constantly, always. But, since late teenage years, i've watched it a handful of times with some parodies here and there.

But it seems like you members here, have multipliers and everyones strength to a "tee".

So tell me how and if you consider yourself hardcore?

No one has characters strength to a tee because it's impossible to know any characters strength after the Freeza saga. People have their own lists but none of them are actually "Right". Unless you meant order of strength and not their actual power levels >_>

Same kinda goes for multipliers, while they haven't been stated in the manga they have been stated in a guide, but guides aren't always followed 100%.

As to your question, I guess it depends on your definition of hardcore...

Not as harcore as I used to be. I haven't watched the anime thoroughly in years. When I debate on here I'll usually refer to the manga and my memory of the movies. But I've never made up a list of powerlevels. To me, there are too many details to it to even try. Instead, I rely on statements from the manga to tell who is stronger than who.

I wouldn't really classify myself as ''hardcore'' now. I used to be. I'm just awed when people come up with complete Power Level lists ranging from the beginning of DB to the end of DBZ. When I see how much work they put into their lists, calculations and logical multipliers, I see them as the ''hardcore'' fans.

I consider myself able to keep up with anything shown in the show. I own all of the origina VHS (with a few dvds filling the gaps) of the first FUNI dubs, as in not the box sets. I 've watched every episode at least twice and some of them probably 10 to 15 times. I also own all of the manga as well.

As for multipliers and stuff, I'm not up to date with everyone's theories about those; when it comes to DB mathematical theory, I'm not really that interested or versed in it. THOSE peopel I consider to be truly hardcore.

But I think I'm, maybe, an expert in the field? Yeah, yeah, I know, really modest, eh? But I can tell you as I type this that Namek is in Galaxy 9045XY, Krillin died a total of three times up to the end of Z, and Bulma's bra size is 34-C.

has anyone ever stopped to think that maybe Trunks just bought his sword somewhere or something? There's nothing really special about it.

Well it did manage to slice Frieza into a shishkebab so it must've been packing more power than your average blade. Hell even Zelda's sword couldn't pull off that ****.

I don't believe in power levels after the Frieza Saga. :D
Now, there's an idea.

I'm pretty hardcore I would say. Its effected my life in a lot of ways and I constantly talk about it (at least online). That, and also most music I listen to are dbz amv's on a youtube playlist, and I watch fights and dbz clips for fun alot.
That and I have seen the series through and through multiple times.

I don't give a crap about that power level stuff. You know whats hardcore? Actually collecting the series.
You know whats even more hardcore? Having all of the DBZ singles, Ultimate Uncut Edition, Remastered Boxes, Dragon Boxes, and Kai.
Take a look at the people at Daizenshuu EX those are some hardcore fans. http://daizex.fanboyreview.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3338

I started collecting the Funi videos back in 1999 when the Frieza saga came out, because I got to watch the episodes before they were released on television. I only did this in the summer because my grandparents would spoil me. So, I got the first 15ish episodes (5 videos) and then watche the rest on TV because they didn't come out yet on video during the summer. So, later, when I went to used video stores, I gradually filled in the gaps, but there were still around 15 videos I couldn't find.
So, I finally visited Amazon last summer and ordered the rest. I was a little pissed when the LAST one that came in was fake. I HAVE ALL OF THEM...wait...DAMN IT!!! Then I found it at a used shop and my 10 year collecting adventure was completel. I have a bookshelf full of every DB, DBZ, and DBGT orginal video tapes/DVDs.

No way. The hardcore levels in this forum and more specifically this side of the forum are dangerously high. I hardly know stuff from the manga and before my arrival here hadn't even known what one was. All my knowledge comes from the anime and with that I always get into tons of arguments of which many I can't handle and just let be.

As for the show I'm not sure. If you had asked me back in February you'd know that I was hardcore. Watched nearly every episode in a span of a week and a half. I have all the dbz episodes that's all I want/need I don't particularly care for DB and DBGT. If I were to get them it be for the sole reason of having them in a collection.

i consider myself hard core, but i, in no way, claim to know everything about DB/Z/K, but i hope to one day! :D
Krillin makes me laugh. Goku makes me cheer. Vegeta makes me scream. Gohan makes me gasp. And Piccolo makes me shut up.

In Japan its practically the same thing.
In America its a better dub imo.

Storyline- yeah its the same its Z without 90% of the filler
