Goku should've stayed in other world

This only just occurred to me like today. Goku chooses to stay dead after Cell is defeated, he says Frieza and the Androids were all after him and that the Earth would be safer with him gone.

Now Goku comes back for one day, and as a result of him returning to Earth, Buu is released and Earth gets destroyed. Silly Goku, you should listen to your own advice.

I agree, I would actually have been satisfied if he didn't come back. I don't hate Goku, but I would have liked him to die a noble death. A futile one, but noble nonetheless.

I liked the idea of Gohan stepping up to be the new hero, even if he found it more difficult than Goku. I found the Great Saiyaman stuff really interesting and entertaining, and it was quite funny too. More of that would've been nice. At least Gohan should've finished off Buu in the end I think, although I've already said before, I like how all the Earth saved the universe by helping Goku, the 1 who had saved them many times before since he was a child(especially if you count the movies).

No no no Gohan had he's chance and between me and you he doesn't seem to handle the spotlight all to well. He's chance to attack Nappa ended in failure(passed off as rookie nerves), Couldn't kill Cell was too busy acting like a maniac. I don't blame though it seems that Goku has done that a few times as well. Especially the Frieza fight in the end of the Namek Saga. Though I don't see him as great leader to take the proverbial torch. Much preferr Goten and Trunks both being the future.
