In the anime he said he wanted Vegeta to have a shot. Pretty stupid if you ask me. I think his human body played a big part in his power shortage. And the form was new. He only told Vegeta that so Vegeta wouldn't feel so weak in comparison. Vegeta immediately told him to stop lying.

Posts: 2,526 Group: Duplicate Member #6,436 Joined: July 1, 2011	I consider them equals, and sometimes when I think about it a bit, I think Kid Buu is ever so slightly stronger than what Goku's putting out. This kinda turns into a battle of multipliers for me. Alotta peeps on this forum for some reason use SSJ2 = 4 * SSJ, SSJ3 = 2 * SSJ2. And if SSJ3 Goku is considerably stronger than Kid Buu, then Kid Buu is only really ~ 2 * SSJ2 Vegeta. I'm just being picky; that doesn't gel quite right. Where would Mr. Buu fit in that range? Only as strong as Vegeta? Nearly as strong as Kid Buu? I could be a bit more lenient on Goku > Kid Buu with SEG factors; then Kid Buu is indeed ~ 4 * SSJ2 Vegeta, which makes me . And Mr. Buu can be stronger than Vegeta while still being outdone by Kid Buu, who can be moderately weaker to SSJ3 Goku. Eh... I'm on the fence.

The first few minutes of the fight, where Son Goku was still at a full power level, show that they are completely on par. And even Son Goku was darn sure, he could win the battle when he would be at full power.

Plus, ''he learns how to fight very quickly'' so if the battle lasted for a decent amount of time, Buu could learn all of Goku's fighting styles and techniques.

That doesn't mean that Majin Boo is stronger then Super Saiyajin 3 Son Goku when they were both at their fullest. That just means that Son Goku's disadvantage with the Super Saiyajin 3 gives Majin Boo the edge. Boo was only seen learning techniques, neither Super Boo or Majin Boo (Fat) were seen learning fighting styles. Frankly, Super Boo was only able to figure out Son Gohan's style with Kamicolo absorbed.

Super Buu as he downgrades from Super to Kid. He attempts to maintain his state of being but is losing. Super Buu's still there while Kid Buu's regressing and emerging; this is way Buu feels as if his power is rising. I just feel as if Gotenks was stronger than Super Buu. Fat Buu is potentially Kid + South + Dai, but he wasn't at full power when fighting SSJ3, Fat Buu's power would always increase some when he let out steam from the pores on his head; this was most evident when Mr. Satan was shot. Mr Buu was South + Dai and was essentially > SSJ2 Vegeta and < then Kid Buu and Goku. Evil Buu was Kid + Fat Buu's anger (magic number) and so > Kid etc... too tired to explain it all...
