Chrome	So now the first season of Legend of Korra has ended, what did everyone think? Spoiler: click to toggle I can't believe I initially guessed correctly about Amon being related to Yakone. But it would explain how Amon was able to resist Tarlokk's blood bending. It was also tragic that Yakone's quest for revenge fuelled both brothers, even if it was at a subconscious level. However, the way it ended between them was fitting, with Tarlokk obviously not being able to live with what both of them had done in their quest for their perceptions of the greater good.. I felt that Korra achieving the Avatar state at the end was a bit rushed. Hopefully the next season will focus on Korra being able to control it, along with Airbending. Though when she showed off all four elements, it was ok, but I don't think anything can top off Roku: Edited by Toji, Jun 24 2012, 08:28 AM.

Posts: 674 Group: Member Member #6,283 Joined: May 29, 2011 Favourite Anime Dragonball/Z Favourite Manga Dragonball	The one thing that always bothered me from the first time Amon was shown taking a person's bending away was how his victims would usually put up a struggle initially but then seemingly give up once he makes physical contact, at the most vital moment. With Amon's true colors revealed, they cleared up that concern fittingly. The Legend of Korra was really settled with a tough act to follow given the success of its predecessor, but I personally never viewed it in the hopes of it being better than the original. I will say that I've enjoyed what the series has put out so far, and look forward to what they have in store for the next season. I don't think they have yet announced what "Book" they plan to follow up with. But after seeing Bumi's brief appearance at the end of the Finale, "Earth" would probably be a good guess.

I thought the finale was awesome really. Spoiler: click to toggle I don't think the Avatar State was rushed at all imo. We all knew she'd mastered 3 of the elements beforehand. So with her spiritual side settled in it makes sense for it to be that way. It's not like she showed control of it. Was so glad it happened though, was pretty kick ass.

Its just like he said, when an avatars at their lowest is when they can make a connection through stress. Alot like Aang did the first time he tried to contact his predecessor avatar roku. Aang also looked really young, like he did around the time he was 40. Was Aang murdered or killed in some way? it doesnt look like he lived a full life like roku did. I liked it. I would have been happy with a simple glimpse of hope that Korra could get her bending back; Aang's appearance left something to be desired; I felt as him telling her that she had finally connected with him in such a way could have been explored a bit more, as in, she could have actually had to have journeyed to Spirit World, perhaps to access Avatar State... [shrugs] I'm just saying; I recall in The Last Airbender, an episode had Aang searching for Appa and having to go to Ba Sing Se. Korra Book 1 could have left Korra having to explore the Spiritual Aspects of being the Avatar. Noatak doods alive. of course, he is. 2 badas not 2 b. Although, he may not wanna brag anymore about being burnt . Seriously, I doubt he's dead, and he'll either be reinvigorated by this, or be further shaped as an instrument of vengeance. I don't see him being the same Amon. I see him either going solely after Korra (with an army of random people, or without (Sparky Boom Man style)) or going after the military. I think he's alive, because even after being beat by Korra, and caught in an explosion, he's still a water bender, surrounded by water. I think Tarrlok's act of redemption ends up being just "an act of redemption." He redeems himself, though... I guess that's it.

Chrome	Spoiler: click to toggle I'd rather Noatak and Tarlokk stay dead, as it brings Yakone's quest for revenge against the Avatar to a close, plus it highlighted the differences between the brothers - Noatak acted like his father by trying to leave it all behind and start a new life, while Tarlokk chose to face the music, realising that neither one of them could walk away from it without facing some sort of punishment. If Noatak was alive, I feel it would be like a big "f*ck you" to everyone, as that whole scene actually made me feel bad for both of them.

FF Favourite Manga Naruto	I'm sure that Azula and her father still have some relatives who didn't appreciate Zuko betraying the family along with his Uncle...so that could set the premise for the second season. Not sure why she'd have to go to Bomie for any earth bending training since she obtained her bending back and only needed to master Air. Perhaps the new season will have her not only helping out King Zuko or his ancestor, General Iroh; but also showing us fans or herself and others what exactly happened to Prince Zuko's mother, Azula and their father in the past. I hope we all get an answer...and possibly we may get a peek at what happened to Jet in the cave.
