After a period of time with the new How To sections a few changes have been made. Firstly the How To: Other section has been removed and all the threads within it moved to creative discussion - if you wish to make topics like this you are welcome to do so there! Secondly the How To section for the forum has been made into a sub-forum under forum discussion. This should allow it to be easily accessible and hopefully still assist people while at the same time not cluttering up the forum. Regards, ~Tim |

I still think the "how to"s should be kept separate if they're in the creative discussion section. People put work into them for other people to use, so I don't think they should just be lost among the other topics in the creative discussion section. Also, if people are bored and want something to do they can go to the how to section and make some food or something, or just learn how to do something random like make a special operations room(or something that could actually end up being useful). If they are put in a separate section I can see members reading those topics in like 6 months time or more, but if they're just chucked into the main creative discussion section, then they will probably never be read again after about 6 months. |

The time period in testing this was too short and it wasn't advertised well I don't think it should have been moved so quickly but rather promoted a bit more and given more time. |

Well no one was using the section. It creates clutter. I have a month's time before I scrap projects that arent doing well. I even asked for people to make somehow to's in a sarcastic manner, and all everyone did was spam it. So you tell me why it didn't work out, because I was filling it... If you want it back, if you're elected then propose the idea again through parliament and it will be reinstated. Even if you're not elected, you can still propose the idea and the parliament will consider it. |

It was given a month and their were clear advertisements in the announcements letting everyone know it was there. And it was on the main forum index. As for the other how to's being a sub-section in Creative i'd think about it, but we'll see. ~T |
