I recently picked up a used version of Budokai 2 and inside the guide theres an ad for Dragon Ball GT. The quote on the ad says "DBGT has bigger fights, better animation and higher stakes." -Rob Bricken, Anime Insider We all know thats false advertising Seriously though when GT first aired on Toonami what did you guys think of it? I never grew up with Dragon Ball on Toonami but I did watch half of GT and I thought it was crap. |

I really lol'd. OT: when it aired, i'll be honest, i couldn't see much of a difference. I must have been only 9ish when it was aired and i think it was the Ocean dub i seen. It also helped that they skipped the Black star dragonball saga so GT got straight into the fighting on Toonami. Looking back however, the only part of GT that is bearable for me is the Funi/Japanese dub of the Baby saga. Edited by Cocoman, Jun 13 2011, 12:17 PM.

iv'e always had mixed feelings on GT. I first saw GT when i was 11 in 2004 when it aired in Australia and lost interest quick. Maybe it was because they began with the Black Star Dragon Ball saga which is quite boring. I then re-watched GT 6 years later from the Baby Saga through to the end and man it kicked ***** seeing the epic fights the series had. Though i also had no idea why they reverted Goku back to a kid and had Pilaf reappear in the first episode. |

When i first watched it i thought it was cool because i was really young, but over the years when i started to compare GT to DB and Z that's when i understood how crappy GT was. |

I hated it. Always. I only watched it to see if anything good would come out of it, but nothing did. Just being honest. |

When I first saw it it was on YTV in like 2003 or 04 and at that time I thought it was new because from what I remember it was never on tv until then, I was excited but after watching the Black Star Saga like all of you said I lost interest and never watched it, I reccently am going to finish it though eventually. |
