Hey everyone, just signed up to this forum whilst doing a bit of googling and it looked great so I thought I'd join up. Well, that's rather underwhelming as a first post so I may as well just say a few things about how I got interested in Dragonball Z. I saw the first showing of this on Cartoon Network (UK) when I was very young and I was immediately hooked, I'd knew nothing about the series but I instantly loved Raditz because of his cheer bad-assery. I kept watching it on TV whenever I could and have great memories from my childhood of having friends over to watch the marathons, funnily enough I was a bit ahead of the game when it came to GT, I was away in Majorca before the release of the GT dub and a shop had Japanese writing pads that had Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Vegeta on them, it absolutely blew my mind to see such rich and interesting designs, so different from what I was used to. Then I saw GT and my heart was broken, the designs and concepts were so good. The Saiyan's original enemies coming back and taking over the Prince, also Goku's fiercest enemy. Golden Ozaru didn't sit too well with me but swings and roundabouts, eh? The Shadow Dragons were pretty cool actually and Super 17 was interesting enough for me not to question it. God, what else to say? My favourite character is Broly because he's indestructible and the best character there's ever been! Joking, don't worry. My favourite characters are Trunks, Raditz and Vegetto. All because of the way they were introduced, I explained Raditz earlier but Trunks was pretty much the same, he just appeared and started kicking *****. Vegetto just looks pretty though... God dangit! Second! <<< Oh, hi, my names Android #17, but you can call me A17 or ( On the far left) Voltaire. (My middle name) I'm relatively new as well, so all I can say is the people are really nice (mainly), stay away from the crazies (Wolf) and switch your favorite character to Gogeta and we'll get along just fine.

I've seen you post before. Were you not a member of Goku's Corner? Or am I getting mixed up here? I remember reading quite a few of your posts when reading up on Raging Blast 2 pre and post release. Anyway Welcome to DBZF. This place seems very friendly, enjoy your stay here. |
