we talk so much about the sayains but right below them in power and importance is piccolo

how do u guys feel about his death and final place (hell) where he stays at the end of gt, how did they manage to live without him espically Gohan

i cant belive he wasnt there to fight the shadow dragon, i know his power wouldnt have helped at all but he was always there using his brain to help the fight and analyze the fight for the audience

He survived a full power Baby Gohan kamehameha.
So by this Piccolo would have been more of a help than Gohan, Goten and Trunks.

Yeah, that pretty much sucked. Quite ironic if you ask me because I didn't think the black star dragonballs would come to this.

Sad, very sad. He was supposed to be there with Gohan, Goku and the rest of the Z Fighters, fighting to the end.

well, if you remember, the black stars were created by piccolos original form BEFORE him and kami split. So it only makes sense that they would be restored upon the restoration of piccolos original form. The power of the black stars compared to porunga or even the green shenron tells you how much conflict the nameless namek was actually in. Piccolo didnt go to hell when he died so i dont feel bad at all. Its boring up n heaven and im sure meditating can get boring after awhile. Piccolo went to hell helping goku get free. Yemma really didnt have to send him down there, whether piccolo caused trouble or not. Im sure by heros legacy goku had found a way to get piccolo free, especially if hes the keeper of the dragonballs like lunar suggests.

Piccolo going to hell= awesome
goku getting piccolo out of hell= goku ending the best one hundred years of piccolos existence.

Its my belief goku did get piccolo free, and that without question, goku kept his word.

The gun that won that old Wild West

I don't quite understand why Piccolo would go to hell. I mean, he was kind of a bad guy in the beginning but he still didn't even do anything that bad. He never even killed an innocent person from what I know. He's sacrificed himself for another persons life and fought for a good and righteous cause for the entirety of DBZ. Sure he had a gruff and grumpy personality and had evil intentions in the beginning, but all he did after that more than makes up for that.

I could understand that someone like Vegeta would go to hell, because he was a very evil and a very bad guy in the beginning and his death toll of innocents was probably well into the millions. By GT he was probably just as good of a guy as Goku but I still don't think it would make up for what he did in the past. Piccolo, on the otherhand, did practically nothing bad.

He went to hell to help Goku escape, but I'm not sure why he didn't return to heaven.

he forced yemmas hand and had himself resentenced to hell by yemma for breaking stuff and causing trouble. Yemma knew it was a ploy to help goku..maybe thats why he really gave in. He didnt have to let piccolo go.

I want to know why Piccolo couldn't just go to Hell. Goku and Pikkon did it on a regular basis pretty much.

it seems like being a hero of the universe gives you more priviledge, before he died pikkon was the goku of the west galaxy. for the last couple thousand years piccolo has been on the edge, so since he and kami were the same person, if one died the other died, do they still seperate, one going to hell and the other heaven? doubt it, might be the reason they both lived so long in the first place.
Being the other half of a kami might give you longevity but being a kami is only a job, that stuff kami did doesnt make him immortal, reintegrating with piccolo gave him his youth back.

In the end it just seems like piccolo didnt garner much respect, because even kami had free reign of the spritual world.

While I wish they gave him more importance in GT, I am glad they gave him a decent end, I mean it was pretty badass of him to go to hell just to save Goku so he could save Earth again, he has done a lot for them.

Why couldn't King Yemma just take him out? He can bend the rules for person who help save the world/universe several times.

Piccolo was only like 15 when he fused with Kami anyway. Haha.

Piccolo was also in the wrong heaven. He was in the no body's heaven, he should've been in the warrior heaven. Remember Goku and Pikkon could traverse between that realm and Hell anytime they wanted. But then again it's GT and the existence of the Grand Kai planet is filler in DBZ.
