argh
My terra drive has started acting up and now it's telling me I have a cyclic redundancy error. I looked it up and apparently it means the hard drive is bad. I think this is stupid cause I didn't get the thing too long ago. It was like, last year September. I have a lot of video files on there and they seem to work still
I.. don't know what to do anymore :/

Make sure you pull everything important off of it. If you can. And then get a new one. There really isn't much you can do with it after it starts going wayside.

Also might I suggest you use a certain command in the run prompt under start.
chkdsk /r

Is this an external drive?

yeah, it's external. I pretty much just got it though. Why would it start going bad?

Have you bumped it around in any way during your move? Sometimes hitting things or bumping them around, even unintentionally can cause the needle to scratch the disk. Causing a bad sector.

If it's that new surely it would be covered by some sort of warranty? If it's a problem with it maybe they can help you?
