Ever notice how much TV Shows make fun of Dragon Ball Z making it seem like a "hurr durr im so strng u cant beet meh" (I'm spoofing n00b youtubers on this one.) The media sometimes portrays it as nothing but muscles but it's much more than that. :(

My friends have the same idea. All screaming, constipate noises and staredowns/trash talking. However my parents actually really dig anime and dragonball so that is pretty cool.
I wasn't aware that the media even knows what Dragonball is anymore.

Yeah, I noticed that's what a lot of people think it's about. I mean wtf, I've never seen any character spend 2 episodes powering up.

Yeah its the "dragon ball z people are constipated" "all they do is scream then a planet explodes" "power up for 50 episodes" etc

I think the screaming and blowing a planet up is a compliment but :w00t:

Haha my friend says their constipated but he actually loves DBZ, he goes on and off it but he owns it all on DVD.

I say, let people say what they want, it doesn't change what Dragon Ball Z is or how we all, me personally, feel about it :w00t:

Dragon Ball Z is still to this day ( to me at least ) THE Greatest Show on Earth
I can never stop watching it

Yeah, I get this alot as well. Especially from Narutards who insult DBZ by saying all DBZ consists of is screaming, powering up for 50 episodes and blowing up planets.
The blonde girl with the black lips turned to Valkyrie.
"We know," she said. "We've seen the future. We know you're going to kill the world..."

Release it Gohan! Release everything! Remember all the pain he's caused... The people he's hurt... NOW MAKE THAT YOUR POWER!!!!

Yeah, but don't dare to insult Naruto or they go spam chicken ***** over your *****. Haha.

Once upon a time, there used to be a signature. Then it got lame, and now I'm out of options for a new one.

i agree it takes some getting used to. i actually saw moment between krillin and gohan and found their intimacy uncomfortable but i think everyone has a moment where they don't get the show.

after watching it a lot you learn HOW to watch it. i think that is where the stereotypes come from.

Well you also must realize that most people are watching the Funi Dub, which is essentially crap to the original version. If people watched the Japanese Version ( W/ English Subtitles ) like it's intended to be watched, they would all appreciate it. Japanese culture is just so badass, and the English Voices just kill everything really...
