I just think he's disambiguous. The only reason he eats with chop-sticks and stuff is because the creator does too.

I usually think that anime characters usually look like western/eastern hybrids, to relate to all audiences.

Well in Journey to the West, everyone is Asian so I could see everyone in DBZ being some sort of Asian. Even if he was, Asians are cool so no problem with me.

In dragonball evolution (hears everyone say OHHHH NOOO PLEASE DON'T), they made Goku a white dude and Chichi an Asian chick. If anything, it should have been the other way around or have both be Asian. Goku had no business being a white, scrawny guy.

If you look at Asian physiques on fit men, they look similar to the ones that Goku/Vegeta/Gohan have. Go google it and see.

Well yes I know he is an alien. What I mean is he supposed to look Asian? I always though he was white growing up but then I heard of the sh*tstorm that was caused by DB Evolution casting a white guy to play Goku.
I really hate when they do ***** like this >.< . I have seen some movies that could have been good ruined by people saying that they had to place in Asian actors because there Asian. This seriously pisses me off. If they can make the movie good then they should, even if they dont have the most Asian actors. Again I base the movies on how the were plot wise, graphics, and if it matches its genre.

Example of how I judge-

Dragon Ball the Movie
Plot Wise- It was meant to have a plot?
Graphics- Actually want bad until you saw the pixie dragon at the end (which looked crappy)
Genre- Action??? WTF!!! Lame Drama should have been the Genre >.>

In the anime/manga Goku was a Saiyan. So even if there was an Asia in the DBZ world I don't see how he would be considered Asian.

To be honest, if you look at Goku he does look Asian. There is no denying that. Asians technically made the series so I would be annoyed too if they put a white guy as the main character. I don't see why a white person has to be the main character in every movie.

I'm not saying all actors have to be Asian within the movies, but at least make the main character Asian. It's no fair to Westernize something that was clearly made by a Japanese man. Most Asian martial artists are pretty athletic too so it would make sense for them to be either Goku or Vegeta.

Yeah I have a problem with this as well, Goku is an alien that happen to land in Asia so as long as he is light skinned and doesn't have a heavy accent I don't care who plays Goku because that's how Goku is portrayed,

Same with Superman, if he landed in Japan would he need to be played by someone of Japan decent, no because he looks white.
