The reason why I was saying that is because Vegeta himself says the Saiyan of Legend could only be SS while in Great Ape, and it makes sense for SS4 to be that imo. I know in the non-cannon/movie universe, Broli is the LSS. But what about the Anime Series universe, in that one SS4 could be whatever someone wants it to be. |

It is stated by Vegeta that Broly is the Saiyan of legend as he has a natural gift for battle and was born with a significant power level. And although 2nd coming wasn't as good as the 1st broly movie, it is clear that Broly is the most powerful Saiyan as shown when he overpowers Goku, who had spent time training in otherworld, Gohan, a fairly weak ssj2, and ssj goten in a beam struggle (all be it non-canon and he MAY BE weaker then ssj3 Goku but there is no evidence either way). |

Gohan was MSS not SS2, I don't know why it's so hard for people to understand this! Did you even read my post? I said that in the movie cannon Broli was holy *****. |

If you look at Gohan his hair is on end more than at ssj1. Also just because he had no lightning in his aura it doesn't mean he is not ssj2 because it is obvious toei animation misplaced the lightning a lot (for example otherworld tournament when Goku goes ssj1 vs pikkon). Either way there is no PROPER way of telling due to the inconsistencies of the drawing of the characters other than the hair which is the most reliable. edit: anyway people are always gonna disagree so i'm just gonna leave it at that with the whole ssj2 ***** as it is off-topic. Gohan had two bangs, Gohan's MSS was two bangs, so explain that one. Pretty convenient you make an argument, then say you're not gonna continue this...I didn't think I would have to do this again so soon. SS2 Gohan.  SS2 Gohan vs. Broli.  Also SS2 Gohan vs. Broli. It never got indicated, by the "GT Team", so I may assume that is just another Super-Saiyan Form, but, I guess everyone can have his own opinion about that.

Saber i meant that gohan was ssj2 in the fight with broly not the beam struggle my bad. Anyway although Gohan is a fairly weak ssj2, the extent at which Broly beats him implies that not even a strong ssj2 eg Goku ssj2, could beat him. edit: no need to get mouthy when i wasnt really disagreeing with you

You think that was mouthy? I was completely calm, you should see me pissed off.  As for Broli, Gohan was able to knock Broli back more than what everyone did in Movie 8. Also that Weak SS2 Gohan was able to power out of Broli's hold. And don't tell me Broli was caught off guard when Broli had Gohan right in-front of him. |

To each their own. I still think LSSj Broly (movie 10) > any SSj2 except for post-Zeta Sword Training SSj2 Gohan. |

I respectfully disagree, but going by how things go in DBZ. If you hit someone, they're moved back (It doesn't matter how far or not so much), their eyes are closed and they grind their teeth together. In DBZ that's a sign of pain, and Gohan was able to create more distance than anyone in Movie 8 could, i'm sure you see where i'm coming from. I know you don't agree, but i'm pretty sure you do. That's why I don't think Broli got a Zenka, I think he was just insane, which makes sense to me. |

Not including GT, obviously. Right, Broly didn't get a zenkai. Even though we have images and statements from Toriyama's design sheets saying that he did indeed get a zenkai. Broly did not look like he was in pain. At all. Just annoyed Gohan managed to maneuver out of his grip. Honestly, I don't see it as a big deal. MSSj Goku kneed Broly in the face in movie 8 and slammed his jaw shut. Does that mean it did anything? No. I honestly believe Gohan caught Broly by surprise. Gohan maneuvered out of his grip, which shocked Broly. Then kicked away. Yes, that is impressive considering what Broly did to everyone in movie 8. But, really, I don't think they compare at all. |
