A few rules: -You are on your honor to not cheat. (I don't want to see my problems on yahoo answers etc...) -You may use any calculator available. (although some problems a calculator will come in handy, but it definitely won't help you solve the whole problem.) -The problems are designed with you in mind. If I can't do the problem then I can't expect you to do the problem. -Remember you must show some work on the equation to let me know you didn't just plug it into a calculator. This is crucial because if you don't get the problem correct, I can still give you a quarter point for trying. -Participants may only submit one answer per round. A second PM from any participant in the same round will not be counted. Sorry but being right the first time is important. Each round will extend 2 days per round for the first 2 rounds. After the 2nd round it will extend a days time. This will allow for others to enter within the first 2 rounds. Late entries are now closed. Entries are open for the first 2 rounds. Anyone who wishes to join mid game during this time is welcome to do so. You don't have to post here to enter, just pm me with your answer to begin. Submit all your entries to me by PM. Otherwise you will void your points for that round and i'll have to make a new problem, which will somewhat irritate me. Participant point area: (5) -wolffanghameha (2.25) -I love Android 18 (2.25) -Sousen Ichimonji (2.25) -Timmooo (0.50) -RebelX Check back to this first page for updates per round of who has the most points! ROUND 1 (basic math) Round 1 is up on 4pm CST, March 11th, or when all the current participants have given their entry. Note: For reference, and those who did not have an American education, 12 is multiplied by 3.5. That should help. They say math is a universal language, but symbols aren't! This was brought up to me about showing work, it is perfectly acceptable to use paper and pen to show your work by simply taking a picture. Also the amount of work you show has little bearing on whether or not you get the quarter point. If you try at all to show some work you'll get the quarter point. I myself detest showing my work if I know I can work it all out on calculator. So just do your best.
