Now, the Castlevania series is basically on par with the Super Mario and Legend of Zelda series. Starting with Castlevania I on the NES and going through nearly every console and handheld system on the planet, Castlevania really earned it to be called a all-time classic.

Though, i needed to.. buy some of the old castlevania games when i was young, because my first was Castlevania: Simon´s Quest. Which i got from my older brother, at first, i wasn´t even close a fan of Castlevania, since Simon´s quest was basically... a true pain in the *****, flawed control´s.. and Dracula was a *****. Later on, i got Castlevania I and there was it where my love for it started, amazed of how challenging yet fair the game was, i fell in love with it. But my true favorite to this day is Castlevania: IV and Castlevania: Lament of Innocence for the Ps2.

You may ask now, why do you choose Lament of Innocence to be one of your favorite´s, well, it was the first 3D Castlevania done right.

What are your thoughts on the series?

Once upon a time, there used to be a signature. Then it got lame, and now I'm out of options for a new one.

Crazy Awesome Legend

I loved Symphony of the Night. I think it was the first time we got to play as Alucard who in my opinion >>> Richter. There were so many places to explore and really fun bosses. I loved it.

Hate me all you want but I really enjoyed the N64 Castlevania games. I played them as a kid and wanted to sh** my pants because of how scary it was. The controls weren't all that great, but if you practiced you could get used to them.

Wish I heard of it. Didn't play much of those games you mentioned.
