Personally I agree with that ^ If Your a good member,You just have to go 3 months,if you have a dodgy record,wait half a year young one! D=< I dunno why but im thinking i will be waiting till july..... Whadda know? elite membership would probably be like a birthday present then! Lol. If Im accepted even then >.> Hallalujah.

We want our members to show commitment, yes, but we also want them to set elite status as a goal, as something to work for... by being friendly, active and making contributions. I think some people could get unmotivated quickly if they had to wait for such a long time. But that's just me.

Obviously not everybody is going to stick around, regardless of their status here - regular members, elites or even mods. I just feel like if they set elite status as a goal from the begining -- something to aim for, we're gonna have bigger chances of having those members sticking around. And it's harder to think of being an elite as a goal to achieve when you have to wait for such a long time. But like I said, do what you gotta do. I don't entirely disagree with this extension, I just liked the previous rule better.

Might be a bit complicated but what about after 3 months you get I don't know Novice? And then 6 months being Elite, just a thought to go with what Strawberry said And yeah I would agree with that Lord Cooler people don't seem to be devoted enough
