I don't know Pyro, I kinda agree with lunar's argument with the gravity.
Oh, no, no, clearly if you can't walk in 150x while other, MUCH WEAKER characters have done it with ease, then you're weaker than those characters. Trunks and by default Goten can't be too much stronger than Yardrat Goku.

 don't you mean they can't be too much stronger than pre zenkai goku from namek, who mastered 100x gravity? vegeta was training at 300x with a pl of 2.5 million, so they can't even be that strong.
list of canon sources:

the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga.

list of non canon sources:

everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality.

for those that blindly follow word of god

 Ah, yes, they'd only be about half of 1st Form Freeza's level then, if that, which would make their Super Saiyan forms around Piccolo after fusing with Nail. Well, I can't really argue that. No.18 was holding back immensely, and everything to do with the kids was a gag anyway except for the one instance of Trunks having trouble in 150x gravity for some reason.

Nope. They're still weak as crap. Their training was futile. The Trunks instance dictates everything about their strength, my friend.

 Wait, but how come SS Goten was sparring with MSS Gohan and they were sweating a good bit, in the Manga of course, I realize MSS Gohan was weaker than his Cell Games self, but he's not that weaker.

 because kp is being sarcastic. s/he (i really don't know) gets this way for about a week every 2 or 3 months, whenever someone says something truly idiotic, and won't back down even when proven wrong.

Hell No I won't, I enjoy sarcastic people...that's my kind of people. :D

But now since I know this, I'll be more alert and should be able to spot it when your like it.

See I place post Budokai training Son Gohan's base: 76,000,000.

And I place Son Goten 1 million weaker than Son Gohan, then Chibi Trunks in-between.

 I suppose that's fine. I don't really have anything to debate that, although personally I would make the gap a bit bigger in order to allow more space between Trunks and Gohan.

Just for reference, Trunks' little escapade happens on April 10th, Age 774, while the tournament starts on May 8th of that same year, so there is still a bit of time for him and Goten to grow stronger.

 That just means I need to make Son Goten weaker to allow that kind of gap.

I'm too set in my % theory, it may sound crazy and pretty far fetched, but I find it to make quite a bit of sense.

Answer A: Because he's Piccolo and was semi-important in the last arc. Now two kids show up out of practically nowhere with huge amounts of strength and the Piccolo followers don't like that, so they try to undermine and dismiss any and all showings of the kids' power in order to keep Piccolo important.

Answer B: Piccolo fought a Cell Junior and didn't die. The kids fought a "suppressed" No.18 and it was a gag fight anyway. Gohan was going easy on Goten. The kids are weak, Piccolo is strong. The end.
