What the GT ending means

I think what the end of GT Symbolizes is that goku has defeated the most powerful being to ever be in existance and Shenron takes him off to be a God among Gods. if you watch the Dragonball GT movie after Omega Shenron died. It Goku JR looking for a dragonball. Guess what he finds one and when he touches it GOKU Appears. and tell Goku Jr how they work. Could it be possible that Goku is the new Wish Granter?

I always thought that was how it was. I think DBZ should've ended with Goku repacing Dai Kaioshin for beating Buu, and then taking in Uub apprentice.

i think he just lives inside the ball, just like his Grandpa Gohan, i have not seen the movie in some time, but i think Goku Jr. found the 4 star ball which means he might be with his Gohan (old)

I always saw it has Goku going off to train more as that's all he does. I HATE how Vegeta and others were tossed aside in the end. I mean does Vegeta just allow goku to leave while he lives peacefully? I wanted a 3-4 episodes of a all out Vegeta vs Goku battle. Settling any and all debates. Ending with the camera closing up on the victor as he says a chessy line and transforms to SSJ5. lol

that would be pretty awesome, but sadly GT sucked to much for that to happen!

Sadness. truely. but it would have to be years after the end of actual GT because coku would have to resurrect and blah blah blah

well, as far as can be seen, goku died against omega. there's another topic in this section that explains it, but i don't feel like searching for it right now. basically goku died, hung around long enough to finish off omega, said his goodbyes, and went off to be the guardian of the dragonballs instead of going to otherworld. and grandpa gohan is not in the 4 star ball, and neither is goku. but it was the four star ball goku jr. found.

The one thing I don't like about the ending is, shenron making his own decisions about not able to use the dragonballs ever again for along time, to me that is a sign that Dragonball GT different from dragonball and dragonball z. IMO the dragon should've scattered the dragonballs for the next dragonball series to take place and let another villian have there try at wishing for immortality.

no, because the dragonball NEEDED a century to repair themselves. that was the whole point. the dragonballs need 100 years in order to dissipate the negative energy built up from a wish or wish set. the dragonballs "overheated" from being used too often, and even though the shadow dragons were destroyed, the dragonballs were still "hot", and needed to chill for a century.

The GT ending means "Hey you hated GT and we're sad, here we'll end it and make you sad." No questions asked.

goku was a child, and the four star ball was the only reminder he had of his grandpa. when the 4 star ball glowed in reaction to bulma's balls, goku thought his grandpa was speaking to him. throughout the rest of the first db hunt, goku referred to the 4 star ball as his grandpa. but his grandpa was not connected to the 4 star ball in any way. he kept his body, and got to train in otherworld. he came back for a day to test goku at baba's tourney, and then he became the assistant to the woman that keeps the gateway to otherworld open.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Yeah a fight between the 2 ssj4s would have been awesome! Maybe have it a draw(to save Goku always winning because yeah he is the main character but its seriously old) And then the fight with Goku jr. and Vegeta jr. should have seen more of it, a lot more. I would have Vegeta winning because he is my favourite character and it's just not fair how pathetic they make him.
