I'd say Goku. He was always implied to be a generally better fighter than Vegeta. |

in the anime vegeta seemed to have an upper hand. even in the manga only a few hits connected and of those, vegeta landed more hits. so maybe the fight wasnt as equal as we think. |

It depends. Would Goku be thinking about Majin Buu's release during the fight or focus on Vegeta? If he didn't focus I'd say Vegeta would have the victory. Unless maybe Goku snuck his senzu bean

Arent they supposed to be equal? Goku was always the better fighter but being Majin was supposed to make vegeta a little stronger and i think they were supposed to be equal |

Vegeta closed the gap and showed to be superior in the battle, Vegeta would´ve won, he was way more aggressive then Goku was, and had an iron will which even Goku couldn´t have broken. |

Really? Vegeta had a slight edge and I don't think Goku had full attentions in battle. |

They both landed one punch each and Vegeta got a headbutt in and thats all that made contact. Goku was distracted in that fight and Vegeta was conflicted. Goku saying to end it quickly really to me is just for Vegeta's sake of pride. Goku knows how much it means to him. Goku wouldnt think that only getting hit twice would do any harm to reviving Buu but he was trying to play it safe the whole fight and trying to help Vegeta and reason with him. Vegeta flat out says Goku is a greater genius than himself. If they both had full input and both weren't either disturbed or distracted Goku wins. Goku is just naturally better than Vegeta |

I think goku would win because he has better techniques then vageta (ex. instant transmission, solar flare, spirit bomb, he can even go kaiokin while hes a super saiyan) I would also say that goku was just staying on par with vageta in that fight so he wouldnt awakin buu and that made goku seem weaker then what he acually was at that point (ex."paraphrase" many time in dbz goku said that he couldnt fight all out if people were going to get hurt if he did fight his best) |
