I've never played it personally. But I've heard mixed reviews about it. If you're a die hard then you'll like it regardless. So I'd rent it to cautions but to add to your collection I'd buy it.

In terms of depth, it's weaker than RB1. But it's still fun if you're a Z Fan

If you're looking for a good story mode, stay away from this game. There isn't a story mode, just Galaxy Mode where you pick any character and battle against random characters with conditions.

There isn't a huge input of particularly good or useful characters. Characters like Bojack, Zangya, Cooler, Mecha Frieza, Meta Cooler, Ultimate Gohan and Hatchyack are good add - ons, but there is other hencmen like characters which serve no purpose.
The gameplay is alot fatser paced than usual, with graphics that put RB1 one to shame. The only problem I have is the slow as heck super - flying. In the older games you'd be at your opponent in a matter of three or four seconds, but in this game it only moves slightly faster than normal flying.

You can also watch the English - Subbed version of "Plan to Destroy the Super Saiyans!" Which is a nice feature, but personally I thought the animation was too sharp. The fight scene with Hatchyack was a bit boring, too.

Rent this game first. I sort of enjoyed it, but unlike all of the other games I couldn't get stuck in because there was no story mode - my favourite part of the game. Galaxy Mode is repetitive with the same line of battles with every character.

The World Tournament is at the best It's been in a long time. You get different modes, like "Super Champion" where you battle against the previous champion of the World Tournament. Plus, the "Saiyans only" or "Androids only" modes are pretty cool as well.

Overall, I enjoyed but not half as much as RB1. You will probably get bored of it in a matter of a week or two. Rent it first.

Release it Gohan! Release everything! Remember all the pain he's caused... The people he's hurt... NOW MAKE THAT YOUR POWER!!!!

No, there is no story mode, it's just a bunch of battles on a grid, really stupid if you ask me.

Well I always hated story mode. I already know the story so I don't really want to go through it again and again. I like that they broke from that tradition and offered a slight variation. I thought the built in film was good even though it was incomplete. Even more so than the original for some reason. It's almost as good as Raging Blast 1, but lacks the replayabilty.

I have to say.... That I totally agree with you. Although the Galaxy Mode was a nice break from the usual old story mode, It's nothing more than an arcade mode at best. A boring, repetitive one at that.

I got it for Christmas, and I do like it. The graphics are superb, and the fighting system is OK at best. Galaxy Mode was a let down for me, because it seems they got lazy making it. There are ridiculous battles where you have to fight a character with full health, while you start with zero, meaning if you get hit just ONCE you are finished. I love how many characters there are, and how many transformations they included.

I think the only reason I actually like the game is because of all the "What-if" battles I have always wanted to do, I can do with RB2. So basically, buy the game if you really are a huge DBZ nerd like myself. Don't buy it if you want an in-depth story like the Budokai series offers.

BT3 was definitely solid, if you're playing on single player I loved BT3. But online for BT3 and RB1 were trash. RB1 also had some cool what-ifs lol

Haha the only thing that sucks is that it doesn't seem to matter who you are, you can beat anyone with any character. Like I beat. Super Buu with a Saibaman.

I cant really say, im on low budget right now and only have the demo, its a solid game with lots to offer for die hard fans, but the thing is if you dont go in a nerd rage when you miss an episode you wont really be going any higher than a rent.

Galaxy mode i was fine with,i found it difficult at most, but it did leave me wanting to see if i could beat these battles on even harder difficulties(played the full game at my bro's house)

The character roster is spectacular and every character is well balenced, i whooped a very hard super saiyan 2 vegeta with a cell Jnr.

Still, the transformations are good, I was sorta dissapointed by the fact theres no SSJ4, but i didnt care, this is a solid game and if you arent a huge fan just rent a copy and try to unlock everything.Replayability is low but the first time through is a fresh experiance that should only be missed if you dislike DBZ.
