Hatchiyack is pro. Stronger then Movie 8 Broly, plus he has the mind of a supercomputer. He's also the hardest character to snap vanish attacks against in Raging Blast 2 which is a big reason I love the guy. People can't vanish out of my combos with him. What they need to do with Raging Blast 3 is NOT include 50 new characters that nobody but a few like me will play. Yes, I like to have Dragonball and GT characters, but when you go online, nobody plays them. They have enough as it is now in RB2, maybe add Kid Uub from the end of Z, Giants and Tapion back and that'd be perfect. They should be focusing on refining the gameplay. The melee system in RB2 is a very, very good base but it needs to be refined...defense is almost useless because people just faint smash around your block, swaying isn't worth the time of day, countering just stalls for time...it's all offense, no defense. Snap-vanishing needs to be made harder again because the entire game revolves around people trying to get out of combos by mashing the block button and getting lucky. The characters they have now also need to be made more unique. In RB2, each character uses a certain combo set which determines what assault combos they can use (those being where you link from one melee attack to another by pressing extra buttons). There are only 7 combo sets in the game. 7 sets, for about 100 characters. Now, there are also cancels for each character, too, but even when you mix and mash cancels and combo sets, many characters are clones of each other because most characters have all the important cancels anyway. Take Super Android 13, Fat Buu, Hatchiyack and LSSJ Broly and SSJ3 Broly in RB2. The only difference between them is their supers and how you use their signatures. Apart from that you can play them identically. That's not good enough. Same goes for Yamcha, Krillin and Base/SSJ Goku, and there's many other sets of characters that play the same. They should be focusing on gameplay, and making the characters that they already have now more unique, not adding every character from DB and GT when I KNOW 95% of you will just go online and play Goku/Gogeta/Vegeta/Kid Buu/Cooler/Vegito every single match anyway. /end rant I would also like the story mode back, Galaxy was terrible. |

I think this idiea is the best and to have this game as a RPG game. But i have a feeling that the DB RB makers will not listen to any of are idieas, as all are idieas would cost too much in money. They would want to have made the game as cheaply as possible. |

I agree with what that dude above said. I liked the melee system though, just really wish they had story mode. :l |

Well then dark's idea of a perfect RB3 is to destroy it,this is a fighting series,DBRB,not an RPG,if Your that desperate hack into DBO. And if You are that desperate to destroy RB then you have no soul. |

DB BT 2 game was a RPG game and that became quite popular so i cant see that an RPG on RB 3 would not get the same resaults. Its better then boring item's. And a person with no soul is the eye of the beholder. |

They try too hard to bring out a DBZ game annually. What Psyam said is true. We might love and enjoy the luxury of every character, but at the end of the day there are all basically similar. @DarkEmpire BT2 was no RPG, lol. An RPG is a Role-Playing-Game, while BT2 was an anime based fighting game. I've always bought the new DBZ game. Every. Single. Time. Every new DBZ game that came out, I just went in and bought it because I love DBZ so much. But I'm fed up of them milking the series every year, giving us the same old crap with a few new characters, few new stages, etc. Make a unique game. Make an RPG out of it. DBZ has so much potential to it that It's unbelievable! I mean, I don't want to be waffling on here but seriously! They're too afraid to stop making the same old same old in case it damages sales, but people are going to stop buying them. Go ahead and buy BT2 and BT3. Them two games have the best elements of any other DBZ game. I will not buy RB3 if it ever comes out. No matter how flashy they make it look. |

Lol I know, that's the problem. They hype it up so much with flashy screenshots and promising things that aren't even real! A person interviewing this guy working on Raging Blast 2 during E3 asked him was there going to be any what - if characters. And the person developing the game said that there would be six all new, what - if characters. There were two. And they already appeared in RB1. They use marketing schemes to get us to buy their product with flashier explosions, couple of new characters, new stages, etc. When down at the core, It's essentially the same game as its predecessor. And seriously, you all know I'm right. |

Honestly, RB2 is really very different in how it's played at an advanced level compared to RB1, as was RB1 compared to BT3. The problem is almost nobody who plays the games actually understands how they work. They think all you can do is hit one button 5 times for a basic attack string and use supers. Do you know how many people I fight online on RB2 every day that don't actually know how to use smash attacks (gut-punches, turn around moves, trips, up hits, triple kicks, ki push), let alone pull off a decent combo? It's unbelievable. Never have I seen a game series like the Spike DBZ games where 99% of the people who play them don't actually know how to play at all. It's all there in the tutorial, and yet people still think all you can do in the game is use super attacks. When I use melee combos on people, going as high as the limit of 99 with some characters, I get sent messages saying I'm hacking and cheating! Spike do their best every game, but they don't know what the fans want because the fans can't actually play their games, so Spike keep trying to change the combo system every game, hoping to get it right, and nobody even notices because they're too busy standing halfway across the stage doing nothing but firing beams! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4Uw0yVOgJ4 Look at what you can do with RB2. Can you do combos like that? Probably not, and that's the problem. Almost nobody can. It doesn't matter what they do with the DBZ games if people never take the time to learn how to play them. Sorry, just had to get that off my chest. Here's hoping RB3 will be a great game. I've enjoyed every Spike DBZ game so far immensely. Edited by Psyam, Feb 26 2011, 03:18 AM.
