What's the minimum percentage difference needed to be unphased by attacks

So often in Dragonball Z we see bad guys and good guys so much stronger than their opponents that most attacks just seem to bounce off. What sort of percentage difference would be needed to tank attacks like this? I'm guessing a minimum 12.6% difference maybe? Possibly higher?

I actually created a system for this specific purpose...

I would say Figher A being 75% of Fighter B allows Fighter B to TANK something from Fighter A.

That is a minimum however. But yea that should be the starting point.

I tried working out the difference between Freeza and Nail as a percentage but I'm not very good at maths so I that's where I got 12.6 from. Not sure if it's right.

here's what I got..

For iNstance

100% = Exact equals

95 + = Rivals

90-95% Slight Edge to Dominant Edge

80-89% Varying beat down

70-75 One shot to several shot range

It's not exact, but a general range of things going on...

It sort of makes sense. But what about when Freeza beat up Nail? I'm fairly certain it's only a 12% difference between them and Nail couldn't flinch Freeza. But then as I said my maths is quite poor so I may have miscalculated.

nails power level was 42,000 frieza's suppressed power level was 220,000 thats more than 5x as strong as nail.

the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga.

Told you my maths was poor. Would 523% be a bit more accurate for the difference between them? I'm still unsure.

I always just have it as a 40% difference. 20-30% is enough to win without much difficulty at all, but after that, you're kind of just untouchable IMO.
