Why didn't Captain Ginyu change bodies with Freeza?

Why do you think Captain Ginyu didn't use his body switching move on Freeza? Personally I believe it to be because Captain Ginyu has a genuine respect for Freeza and the thought of betrayal would not enter his mind, secondly I also think that Captain Ginyu may believe that the all mighty Freeza would never allow himself to be caught out by this technique. Allthough I think he would. Ginyu wouldn't be able to transform, but it wouldn't matter. He'd still be incredibly strong.

probably because the target has to be within a certain range of your power upward, although downward wouldnt matter.
list of canon sources:

the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga.

list of non canon sources:

everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality.

for those that blindly follow word of god

Maybe because he realises that Freeza would just kill him before he even got the chance to.

That, and he appears genuinely loyal to him.

He was loyal to Frieza even to do end, he would´ve never turned on him, but i guess there was a sort of danger, if the plan blows Frieza would´ve just killed him.

Probably because of his loyalty AND out of fear! I mean, Ginyu's power level is 120,000, Frieza's in his first form is 500,000.
If that plan failed, Frieza could have vaporised Captain Ginyu in one blast. No joke.
The blonde girl with the black lips turned to Valkyrie.
"We know," she said. "We've seen the future. We know you're going to kill the world..."

Release it Gohan! Release everything! Remember all the pain he's caused... The people he's hurt... NOW MAKE THAT YOUR POWER!!!!

I personally think this is a far more viable option - working with someone like that there must have been a level of fear, if not loyalty built entirely on the basis of it.
