Do u really think vegeta the prince of all saiyains would aproach goku and and be like "hey can u teach me this" lol Back to the tien thing aswell, king kai may not hav wanted to train tien in the art of kaioken whilst not training the others? possibly |

perhaps it just comes down to a biological restraint. The saiyan body has been biologically designed to take the stress of a transformation such as oozaru where as the human body has no such natural transformation and so biologically it just couldnt handle it. As seen when supersaiyans power up all their muscles and such grow where as when a human power ups it doesnt really happen apart from master roshi which was only displayed in dragonball. |

in saying that u could say humans could go super saiyan coz its a manga and they can do anything -.-' there still has to be restraints, every anime has its its own universe and in its own universe its own set of rules like how shenron can only grant certain wishes and parunga used to only be able to revive one person at a time. like in naruto how none of them can fly but they are able to do all these other super human things Edited by Chonga, Nov 10 2010, 04:40 PM.

 And, looking at posts ahead of that one, I'd say that it was pretty much showing that Goku could handle amazing techniques like that. Plus, King Kai Fist was pretty much outdated by the time we had all of those new-fangled supersaiyans flying around. The quote is really the true explanation. I find this funny. In Dragonball Z Supersonic Warriors; Goku taught Krillin the kaioken and the spirit bomb in a "what if" storyline. Krillin uses the spirit bomb to destroy Cell and a kaioken kamehameha to kill Majin Buu. |

and that is why no one besides goku uses those moves, because then humans could match saiyans. also, to whoever said something about it being similar to transing, tien can grow an extra set of arms at will, piccolo can get as big as an oozaru, roshi gets huge when he powers up. so its nothing biological, since apparently the physiology of any race can be subjected to some pretty amazing things with the proper application of ki. |

list of canon sources: the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga. list of non canon sources: everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality. for those that blindly follow word of god | |

I did state that roshi was the only other human that displayed sum sort od transformation. Piccolo on the other hand is a namek and i said nothign what so ever about him. Tien growing extra arms in my opinion although i guess it could be called a "transformation" somewhat but in my opinion it didnt cause any extra strain on the muscles it just produced new ones |

Your wrong. We as humans have very short limitations, our bodies cant handle or develop massive change unless we evolve for millions of years. Only Goku can master Kaioken. Why? Goku is the chosen one Not even King Kai could master it and he himself is a god. So for Goku to be able to use it effortlessly by the time he fights Freeza is nothing short of a miracle. Goku was spamming Kaioken when you only should be able to do it so many times until your body falls apart, but Goku didnt. Why? Cause he's Goku He was born to push past once thought limitations. |

I wouldn't use King Kai as the best example as why the humans can't use the Kaioken. King Kai's PL is only 5,000. Krillin's PL when he fought Frieza on namek was 75,000. To say he can't push himself past a "God" who is weaker than him is wack. King Kai was surpassed by all the Z fighters during the Namek/Frieza saga. His only claim to power is his title. Goku himself surpassed King Kai before leaving to fight the saiyans. Kaioken was a signature move of Goku's. It wouldn't be so special if all his friends had learned it also when they visited King Kai. But once the saiyans got SSJ, kaioken faded into obscurity. The humans learning it should be totally possible. |
