I think he could He can take on mini perfect cell's, and to have any hope of fighting at the Cell games he would want to be stronger than Cell's weaker form. |

Cell Jr´s > Semi Perfect Cell. Piccolo did perfect against them, he would win against Semi Perfect Cell. |

He'd certainly destroy Semi-Perfect Cell. I don't think he's as strong as a Cell Junior - I reserve that spot for Vegeta and Trunks only - but he's pretty powerful. |

It's true, Cell said only Vegeta/Trunks were able to stand up to the incredibly underestimated Cell Jrs. However, while even MSSj Goku (though, still tired from his fight against Cell) were on the ground beaten and bloody from the Cell Jrs., only Vegeta, Trunks and Piccolo were standing. I'm thinking Cell merely meant that Vegeta/Trunks were equal to the Cell Jrs, while Piccolo being inferior, wasn't much, since he was still standing at the end of it all. I think Piccolo w/ Kami post-RoSaT is actually somewhat close to Vegeta/Trunks post RoSaT for the second time. Not quite equal to but somewhat close. Since Vegeta EASILY beat down Semi-Perfect Cell after going in the RoSaT only once and Piccolo is probably somewhat close to their (Vegeta/Trunks) after they went into the room for a second time, he greatly outclasses Semi-Perfect Cell. He would destroy him with relative ease. |

Yes. Beforehand, meaning before the RoSaT, he was stronger than SSjin Vegeta by quite a bit. After his training he should in the very least be stronger than SSjin Grade 2 Vegeta [Post-1st RoSaT]. Now NeciFiX, I'm not sure I'd entirely agree with you, because we don't know if Trunks and Vegeta were using regular SSjin or SSjin Grade 2. However, I DO believe that Piccolo certainly does surpass SSjin Grade 2 Vegeta [Post-1st RoSaT], because of what you said. Even if Trunks and Vegeta were only SSjins at that time, most likely, after having trained a second time in the RoSaT, their SSjin forms should surpass their initial SSjin G2 states. That is only an opinion but it seems likely. Anyway, since Piccolo did survive against the Cell Jrs, I'd say he isn't far behind whatever form Vegeta and Trunks were using.

I too think that Piccolo would win. I think the gap between Semi-perfect Cell and Perfect Cell is greater than we think. SSJ Vegeta(g2) had a great advantage over Semiperfect Cell, and Perfect Cell and a great advantage over SSJ Vegeta(g2) PC >> SSJ Vegeta(g2) >> Semi PC PC >>>> SemiPC The Cell Jr.s are around PC strength, probably a bit weaker though. And Piccolo did well against them. PC >= Cell Jrs >= Piccolo I just feel like Piccolo's strength is a lot closer to the Perfect Cell side than the Semi Perfect Cell side. I do think he got a lot stronger, especially when Goku said "You've gotten a lot stronger" (haha, didnt mean to sound redundant there). I think a closer fight would be Piccolo (post rosat) VS. SSJ Vegeta (grade 2) |

but cell didnt say piccolo was doing well vs cell jrs. only in the anime did it give us an impression he could hold his own. what about when piccolo was about go help mssj gohan? if he was doing well vs cell jrs who as you say, pc level power then why would piccolo be that useless that goku wouldnt allow him to go down there?

i dont know, his power was alot weaker than imperfect cell after alot or absorbtions. and then when he absorbed 17 ( a fighter just as powerful as picollo) his power grew exponentially. Could a Namek really about triple ( maybe more) his power in just one year. while i am spectical i will give picollo the benifit of the doubt and say that he is stronger than semi perfect cell but not by much just because of his effort against cell jr. and what goku said about his power increasing alot. While he is more powerful than semi p cell, i dont know by how much. im not sure if he could create a blast to finish him off. also him going to going to the cell games doesnt mean necessaraly that he is stronger than cells weaker forms. He knew he wasnt going to fight cell and that he was no match |

Course he could. He multiplied it by five in one year back when he was training for the Saiyans. Imagine now, when he is training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber? If a Namek can get as strong as Cyborg 17 in the first place, what's stopping him from getting stronger than that? Virtually nothing, other than some hardcore training. So, and under the conditions of the Hyperbolic Time chamber, Piccolo would easily become a lot stronger. And knowing the fact that before the RoSaT he was stronger than SSjin Vegeta, afterwards he should be in the very least on par with SSjin Grade 2 Vegeta. |

Goku told Piccolo that he had gotten a lot stronger, and Piccolo replied he still wasn't a match for Cell. Well, SSJ Vegeta (grade 2) wasn't a match for Perfect Cell either. But he was plenty strong enough to beat Semi-Perfect Cell. Piccolo is atleast as strong as Semi-Perfect Cell. |

Goku could've also been factoring in that Cell had more power up his sleeve, since both he and Korin assumed this. |
