And I full heartedly believed this until i rewatched DBZ and found a compelling quote that changed my mind. before i reveal my evidence i was to see what you think. and give reason other than " fusion is soo strong" or "Gotenks was soo much stronger than super buu and goku was weaker than super buu" post a few replies then ill tell you what i found

Chrome Favourite Manga Dragon Ball	It isnt just common belief it's common knowledge that Gotenks is stronger. It's stated that Super Gotenks was stronger than Super Saiyajin 3 Goku. And Post RoSaT Base Gotenks is quite possibly stronger than Super Saiyajin 3 Goku. It's only implied that base is stronger, but for sure Super Saiyajin Gotenks is stronger than Super Saiyajin 3 Goku. Nothing can say otherwise They knew that Gotenks could go Super Saiyajin so for him to stand a chance, but more likely beat him, they knew that he was/ had to be stronger than Goku.

He was afraid of Super Boo and wouldn't even fight him with Vegeta's help. Gotenks and Boo were practically equal. That's all the evidence you need. Im not an idiot im just spectacle. I know about goku being afraid of super buu when he was fighting with vegeta. Buu absorbs gotenks and picollo and starts beating the crap out of gohan. Goku comes to earth with the intention of fusing with gohan, but in the fighting they loose the ear ring. Goku as a ssj3 dodges and trys to destract buutenks while gohan tries to find the ear ring. Gohan finally finds the earing and as he finds it gotenks fusion wears off and buu becomes buucollo. At this point Goku says " You cant seriously believe you can fight me in that form. Gohan we dont need to fuse" Then buu aborbs gohan... why would goku be so confident that he could beat buu when he is weaker than gotenks and gotenks was equal to super buu? the only two explanations i can think of is that buucolo is weaker than super buu or that goku is stronger or equal to gotenks? I really dont believe goku is stronger than gotenks, but this part is confusing me. can some one explain it? when does goku say that Gotenks is stronger, i missed that?

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Dragonball/Z/Super, Naruto/Shippuden, One Piece, Hellsing, Death Note	SSj3 Goku vs. Bootenks NEVER happened in the manga, therefore, the anime is wrong and I am going to close this. Gotenks kills Goku. And in the manga, when Bootenks defuses back to Piccolo Boo, he says "We don't need to fuse, Gohan can take you now." or something of that effect.
