Pyro - I don't think the past androids were holding back. Gero had to get back to the labs because the Z fighters were much stronger than he had anticipated, and I'm sure he made adjustments on 17&18 accordingly.

However, Trunks is not able to sense their ki so this prove isn´t relevant, also Future 18 and 17 seems to having fun fighting 18 and 17 from the present time had a mission to kill Goku. You can´t compare the fight with 18 and 17 in the future they could´ve barely used 30% of their power and were 100% toying with him so that Trunks "handled" them was rather false. Comparing Future 18 and 17 with their present counterparts is.. rather weird, 18 and 17 from the present are rather down to earth and more "human" like then total killing machines like the ones from the Future. My point? F. 18 and 17 were toying with Future Trunks so this isn´t even accurate. My second point? 18 and 17 from the present were fighting and could´ve been 60% precent or higher they were actually "serious" Future 18 and 17 weren´t at all. And do we even know that 18 and 17 are able to sense ki (if i am mistaken please tell me lol, i recently didn´t watched/red the kamicolo vs 17 fight). Edited by Nusu, Oct 10 2010, 09:49 AM.

And you can genuinely tell if someone's holding back when they punch you.

Posts: 9,150 Group: Member Member #5,265 Joined: September 24, 2010 Gender Not Specified Favourite Anime dragonball/z/gt/movies What Browser do you use? internet explorer or firefox	16 has a built in scouter, 17 and 18 don't. in the anime at least, it was very clear that 16 was able to accurately compare powers at close range, while 17 and 18 had no idea what a persons present power was until they started to fight. they do, however have database information on all the z fighters and have their last recorded powers stored in their memories.
	list of canon sources: the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga. list of non canon sources: everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality. for those that blindly follow word of god
