Yes, so it makes no sense. I don't think it meant SSj2 either, since I don't know, that's not really the type of power-up he's referring to in the context of that sentence. |

It doesn't matter what Gohan said because the movies don't coincide with the storyline. The movie itself is filler so take what the characters say with a grain of salt. I'm sure if it was in the manga, Toriyama would have Gohan say something different. |

Who would hate Broly? That's like you agreed with Frieza's decision for destroying all bunch of saiya-jins. Dragonball Z needed a someone to teach gohan a lesson for not training even if he is a Super Saiya-jin 2. |

gohan learned how to turn ssj2 when he was younger... when he fought broly, gohan is adult already... now if you're gohan and your opponent is broly, would you risk your life fighting broly only as a ssj even if you know you can turn ssj2??? of course not... plain and simple... common sense people... peace...

I can smell it now, that line is a plot hole.. you´ll see we´ll keep digging until we will find this... slimy, *****ty, disgusting.. plot hole. |

Once upon a time, there used to be a signature. Then it got lame, and now I'm out of options for a new one. | |

I think you're absolutely right. That line alone basically throws off everything. Post-RoaT: Everybody is their Cell Games level. Gohan beats Cell, then slacks for 7 years, THEN states that he's powered up considerably since the last time he fought Broly. WHAT!? Mid-RoSaT: Everybody is just plain weaker than their Cell Games level. Hell, the Cell Games might not even happen in your mid-RoSaT universe. But if it doesn't happen, then Gohan has no reason not to train, and Goku would still be alive, which he's not in Movie 10. WHAT!? It doesn't make sense for either side of the fence honestly. |

Now right here people is where we should be thinking. Keziah i am one to believe that Gohan was definitely SSJ2 Of course if i was Gohan i sure as hell wouldnt hold back just to be pummeled. Thats it right there. No one can say Gohan is dumb enough not to use it. But some may argue that he has trouble using it considering he only ever used it once in his life, which was 7 years ago. The reasons why people deny your simple and logical knowledge that most definitely makes sense is that people us their own evidence, their own beliefs, and their own interpretation. Lamently- we all dont see it the same way: Simple and logical Even i change my own opinion on it every now and then. But my logic kicks in and the evidence that is provided more, for, than against, is a lot stronger. Ultimately you cant convince everyone, that is something we all have to accept. - Hybrid

I just watched it again. He used in both ssj1 and ssj2. Look, he fought broly in ssj2 and came out after his thought he had won, and he used the kamehameha in his ssj1 form. i know the difference because in ssj2 gohan only has one lock of hair hanging down and his ssj1 form he has two locks (a big one and a small one). |

I should have expected that, even though I was gone for three months, this argument would still generate new threads. |
Now, there's an idea. | |

Think about this. The SSJ multiplier is 50x a saiyans base power level. SSJ2 is 2x stronger than SSJ. So SSJ2 is 100x a saiyans base power level. If Gohan were to fight Broly all out like he did (considering he recalls the curbstomp he gave everyone 7 years before) he would use SSJ2. |

Well, It's pretty obvious. We know that at this point he can transform from base to SSJ to SSJ2 at will. He wasn't holding his own like somebody said earlier on, he was getting manhandled. And don't try to prove me wrong, he got godstomped like a fly and this is a fact. SSJ2 Kid Gohan I'm pretty sure could beat Broly with not much trouble. So... SSJ2 Kid Gohan > LSSJ Broly But yeah, if you had three levels (base, SSJ and SSJ2) and you were getting seven shades of ***** knocked out of you, would you transform or keeping getting mangled. Ask yourself this question. There's no way that Gohan wasn't a SSJ2, it just wouldn't add up. |

The blonde girl with the black lips turned to Valkyrie. "We know," she said. "We've seen the future. We know you're going to kill the world..." Release it Gohan! Release everything! Well the films don't don't always add up, look at movie 8 how Goku miraculously defeats Broly, or movie 10 how Goku is able to come back and how three Super Saiyans somehow overpower Broly who you claim to be around SSJ 2. I'm not sure about Cooler's tranformation either. How he can be unphased by Goku's attacks but then not phase Goku when he transforms. So you can't really use logic and common sense with these arguements because often the films do not make sense. |
