I know it may seem like a weird question, but I've always wondered this. I know that Tien would be killed by Cell, since only Goku can use instant transmission, and Piccolo would probably die too (from not getting treatment in time). However, once Goku and Gohan emerge, they would obviously mop the floor with Cell 2nd form, but I still wonder how the events would play out. I bet Goku wouldn't allow Cell to absorb Android 18. |

I disagree. I think he would allow Cell to absorb 18. Remember how he let Freeza go up to 100% power? I think Goku's arrogance would remain the same here. He's want to fight Cell at his best. |

Not if Trunks warns Goku, Also Goku wanted to humiliate Frieza, Because Goku was extremely pissed, And he knew he could beat Frieza anyways. Goku would know that it would be a bad mistake letting Cell get his final form, Also why should Goku risk his son´s and his family´s life? Or even risk earths? Also he would never allow it when even Krillin says he shouldn´t cause he "likes" 18 so he wouldn´t allow it that Cell absorbs her. |

Goku certainly wouldn't let Cell reach his perfect form. If the two Sons went in first, Ten and Piccolo would die unless Vegeta and Trunks provide a good enough distraction (hah, doubtful with their miniscule power compared to Cell's), and then they too might even die. So it only works if the Sons go in second. |

Tien and Piccolo would die.. either Goku would just wtfpwn semi-perfect Cell, or theyd put up a good fight against perfect cell until Vegeta and Trunks came out.. I wonder if after Trunks and Vegeta saw Goku and Gohan ascend, if they would try the MSSJ routine. Personally, I dont think Vegeta would be smart enough to figure that one out. |

Let's have faith in Cell in this one. I think he would eventually find a way to absorb 18 even against Goku - Gohan. Goku wouldn't fight him in his maximum in order to finish him and in the right time Semi-Perfect Cell would use Solar Flare to absorb 18. It would be extremely difficult to succeed but eventually his hunger for Perfection would be satisfied. He used Vegeta's pride and arrogance to achieve it. In case of Goku he would his innocence and kindness in some way to fool him. In general I don't actually disagree with above posts that Goku wouldn't let him become Perfect but I just think that there would be a slim chance for Cell to find a way to reach Perfection. |

I think slightly different from everyone here. I think that Tien and Piccolo would have died. With that said Gohan after training would have went SSJ2 right after hearing this, since he was strong enough to do so after exiting before (he just had no motivation to transform). If Android#16 dying was enough for him to turn SSJ2-then I think Tien and Piccolo's death (especially) would have been more than enough to make him transform. Next as we know Gohan was very cocky once he transformed, and I think he would have let Cell absorb Cell-then fight him. |

Which even then wouldn't be enough lol. At least Vegeta wouldn't be there to get in the way this time. I agree though, if Cell did go Perfect then Gohan would probably ascend for some reason. |

Well, personally, the fact that he and Trunks are both just SSj during the Cell Games shows, to me at least, that they've realized Goku's way of doing it is the better way. |

Well first off i'll say wtf with the above 2 posts about Piccolo and Gohan... This is a very good topic IMO. I dont agree that Goku would let him get perfect- no way man. The thing with Freeza was because he killed Krillen(his best friend remember) and got really really pissed off and extremely angry at him. He also knew he could win at anytime. But the point is Goku wouldnt let someone so powerful get even stronger. Even if he got MSSJ before Vegeta ASSJ and was ultimately and so god dam more powerful than him, i doubt he would. He wouldnt know how powerful he could become and i dont think he would want to take that risk but maybe. I dont think Gohan would transform- no way. The reason he transformed is because everyone was going to die and it was his fault for just standing there and doing nothing. It would be cool seeing Gohan kick his butt as a MSSJ but then IMO SSJ2 wouldnt be discovered considering Goku or Gohan would kill him. Gohan would reason with his father and tell him what is right and get through to him. Gohan is only cocky in his SSJ2 form and Ultimate/Mystic. And sorry i havent watched this part in a while but why would piccolo die? I cant remember or see why? |

Piccolo was severely injured when Goku (on the battlefield with Cell and Tien) found him. Had he not gotten treatment in time, he probably would have died. Edited by 1000redips, Sep 21 2010, 11:18 AM.
