When Cell came back at full power during the Cell games he took the life of Trunks. So it is show when somebody dies they go to heaven or H.F.I.L and my guess is he wasn't sent to the latter. Do you think he was sent to the afterlife in the present timeline in which he died or the future timeline where he spent most of his life? Also if he did go to future timeline heaven do you think he saw any of the other fallen Z fighters? Maybe he even got to see Gohan again. Of course this is all based on nothing and we can only speculate but it sounds at least plausible to me that it could've happened. |

It have thought it'd make a bit more sense if he was sent to the afterlife in the present timeline, otherwise trying to bring Trunks back to life when his spirit is in the future afterlife would sound like something that would be beyond Shenlong's power perhaps? and if it wasn't, why not use the present timeline dragonballs to bring people back to life in the future timeline? |

I'm pretty sure that he would have gone to the Otherworld of his particular timeline, it just makes more sense. |

I would assume he goes back to his time line otherwise it's just too confusing lol. |

Every timeline is a unique reality. Trunks used the time machine to go to present reality (Cell Saga) where he fought alongside Z fighters to face the crysis. Super Perfect Cell killed him, so Trunks died in present reality, so went to afterworld of present reality, revived back to real world of present reality and headed back home to his timeline (future reality). So in my opinion timelines with worlds (real - afterworld) shouldn't be confused. Trunks used time machine and vanished from his reality (body and soul), died in present timeline and his soul headed to the afterworld of the present reality. |

Well Perfect Cell was from a different timeline, died in the past, and went to present time Hell. So why would it be any different for Trunks? |

Cell was from different timeline, used Trunks time machine and came to present timeline, became Perfect, died in present timeline and went to present time Hell. So Trunks who died in present timeline, went to present time other world and then revived. |

Wait my bad, I didn't read the original post properly. I thought you were talking about the other Trunks that was killed by Cell when he stole the Time Machine. Yeah the Trunks killed by Perfect Cell when he comes back at Full Power would have gone to the Otherworld of the main DBZ timeline, just like Cell did when he was killed. |

ahh, of course. Cell went to the present timeline afterlife, I believe, though he was from the future. So, trunks would too. |
