Overall i see Vegetto as a perfect mixture of the two sides- Goku and Vegeta. He's quite playful and funny, especially when he taunts Buu. For the short time we see Gogeta he's all out serious and gets the job done real quick. But then after he smiles and laughs. Its hard to say where Gogeta stands in terms of personality mixture of the two. first off don't try to mix-match the names to make them mean something because they don't, they are just names. they only way we can kno for sure is by asking akira, and since we can't do that then the only thing we can do is assume. so If you think he is cocky then he is cocky to you! theres no point in arguing this in an effort to attain the fact... since we are missing the main key...which is akira. until he comes along and enlightens us, lets go by what we read in the manga.

I dont get where your coming from or why you even bothered to post this cause it has nothing regarding the actual topic. Gogeta isnt even Canon so i dont get why your saying the cheesy old line "Oh only Toriyama can answer that!" Why the hell isnt Vegetto cocky? He sure acted like that to me. Did you even read what the topic was about? We dont need Toriyama holding our hand on everything. And i aint assuming anything im just going off how Vegetto was and he WAS cocky.

There's no evidence suggesting that the fusion dance and the potara create different fusions. The only thing that really seems changed is the fact is the potara offspring seems a bit stronger since neither of them have to lower their power levels to match and there is no time limit.

One could pretty much assume that with different types of fusions there will be different results, physically I mean.

But hey it isnt like that. We got two different awesome characters and i like it like that.
