I'd like to ask something that i didn't find an answer by searching topics about the Cell saga. When Gohan transforms to SSJ2 and rips the cell jrs apart... In a moment there are 4 remaining and if you watch it carefully gohan destroys 5 of them. So if you count them, he destroys 8 cell juniors but there are only 7 of them. Something wrong must be going with this.. The episode is "The Awakening"

Just checked my manga, Cell produces 7 Cell Jrs and Gohan destroys 7, so there's no mistake in the manga. Must just be the anime.

The last cell jr destruction should be cut out. Anyway, one other thing that made me skeptical was the outcome of vegeta's final flash to cell junior which was handled like a gum and was thrown away. Vegeta trained for second time in the htc and couldnt handle a junior cell??

It's stated in the manga that Cell has an organ in his head that as long as it's intact he can regenerate Yet, when Goku does the Instantaneous Kamehameha, Cell's head is completely destroyed

Mozilla	As i remember, Cell notices also that even if a single cell is alive, he could regenerate. Every cell is programmed to make him whole again. All these are said when he returns as super perfect cell. (So anime hasn't a plothole in this case) Edited by Kakarrot, Sep 7 2010, 11:58 PM.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Dragonball/Z/Super, Naruto/Shippuden, One Piece, Hellsing, Death Note	I think the best way to explain this is the reason Cell mentioned his "core" surviving was because even though he could regenerate with just a tiny fragment of him existing, because his core survived, that's why he went through that zenkai, got stronger and his core remembered his Perfect Form. Just a theory. If his core was destroyed but a single cell from, say, his arm survived... he probably would have regenerated, but, just back to Semi-Perfect Cell.
