Do you think Goku and Vegeta regretted not fusing to make Gogeta or Vegeto...?

 When they figured out that they couldn't match up with Kid Buu one on one?

 probably. goku said he did i think. and vegeta admits they couldnt overpower him so they needed spirit bomb. then again they could have just brought gohan to fight, or at least buy time for goku to teach vegeta the dance.

Didnt Vegeta know the dance though from the Fusion Reborn movie which takes place like sometime in the middle of the Buu saga i think...or at least they tried to make you think it was?

oh. Well they could have probably learned it when Kid Buu was asleep. Those Buu's sure do like to sleep.

 Even if we use the anime, there's no telling if Movie 12 happened in that universe. Boo probably shouldn't have even been alive by then if Movie 12 happened already.

But yes, in the manga Goku berates himself for trying to "look cool" and not using the Potara earrings right from the start. Vegeta naturally agrees and gets pissed at Goku.

hmmm. I dont know if i seen that one. I have Season 9 on dvd but its Funimation.

I guess magna and funimation are the same thing? I dont really know all that sort of stuff. I just watch the show.

I remember the ocean dub's DBZ up until the ginyu saga when they decided to replace those with the the english dubs.

 Manga and Funimation are not the same thing. Manga is basically japanese comic books/graphic novels. When it is adapted into an anime (cartoon) extra bits are added to make it longer and more enjoyable. This is known as filler. The problem with filler is that sometimes it contradicts events which oocur in the manga. For example in Dragonball Z, Tien, and Yamcha are shown to defeat the Ginyu force ar King kais. However ion the manga this never happened and as such is not regarded as a real event.

Thanks for all that. So in the comic then was when Goku and Vegeta regretted not fusing when they had their chances.

That's the way I see it now as well. A while back I used to think it happened right after Goku went back to the afterlife, but then I wondered why Boo wasn't around or even mentioned aside from when Goku said his name.

 But Gohan was never to be shown in his "Ultimate" form.
Then again, he wasnt shown as a Super Saiyan either so i geuss one could say Ultimate Gohan beat Super Buu in that time line.
Generally makes sense.

 maybe gotenks succeeded in beating buu then. or ssj3 goku took care of fat buu but had goten and trunks finish training.
