My advice is: Don't care so much. It's not that important. If you have friends then the social side of your life is covered. Someone will show up sooner or later. However, I recommend you leaving the house. I mean come on, no excuse to leave the house? You don't need an excuse. Just go for a walk or to the movies or eat out or whatever. Go where theres people and get a feel for talking to random strangers, that way you might meet some girls. |

The nearest city from my house is about 7 miles away and I hate buses. Well, bus drivers actually. The weather doesn't help either. Tends to put me off going outside. I do like the eating out idea though. |

Sounds to me like you're just making strong excuses not to leave the house. This is what you do, forget all the negative think about the positive and do it. I used to be like you in other things like id come up with a million excuses not to work out or go out for a jog, but now I just go and do it. Don't think of excuses not to, and don't think of reasons why to do it, just do it. An issue of mine is that I over think and over analyze many things and that ends up doing some harm, there are times where you just need to do it and go along with the moment |

Oh I see. Just go out for no particular reason and see where my instinct takes me? I do intend to do it, it's just that the weather really is misreable at the moment. |

Yeah, this is starting to sound a little hilarious. Pelador, perhaps you should become more independent. Go to your nearest DMV via friendly/family transportation and grab a driver's ed book. Just ask one of the (terrible, mean, stuck-up) assholes that work there for one and try to avoid slapping them. Take it home, study it, then go take the test and get your driver's license. Getting that extra freedom is an advantage, you know? When you have it, then maybe you could get a job. That will leave you tons of room to get out and experience the outside world, all the while profiting from it and gaining confidence in yourself; and finding comfort in the fact that you're not lazy. Open your options and freedoms up. Women (or anyone for that matter) don't have much for someone that doesn't have freedoms and independence.

I have a provisional license. I think that means I'm allowed to drive if there's a qualified driver in the passenger's seat. But there's no way I'm never driving a car with some of those idiots on the road. I don't have the greatest concentration either. There are two particular roads I fear most of all. Charles Cross and Marsh Mills. One little slip up there and I'd be dead. Not worth the risk. As for being more independent. I don't technically have learning issues, but I still always need somebody to pop round and make sure I'm not burning the house down and I've got plenty of clean clothes. Washing machines are beyond me lol. As are dishwashers. I can't get food out of the oven either. I'm too clumbsy. Nor do I have the ability to tell when food is properly cooked. I got an F for a fruit salad in cookery once lol. But I digress, There will always be plenty of people out there who's job it is too look after me so I'm not worried about any of that. The bus and my older brother will suffice for getting me from A to B. I know it sounds like I'm making excuses, but I really am a pretty clumbsy and impractical human being who would be a liabilty and a danger to myself and others in most workplaces. Plus I tend to offend people too. If I was alive in Nazi Germany, I'd be one of the unlucky ones chosen to be terminated due to my uselessness to the state. |

wait, how old are you. the way i see it guys dont need girlfriends until they've got their life figured out. then again i dont have the best advice regarding women. ive only had one date in my 18 years of life and that was my prom. after i join the US coast guard and get in better shape i will be more outgoing. as for you, start running to the city instead of taking the bus. make it seem like you care about fitness theres bound to be some girls that like that and then you'll have a running buddy and then who knows what 'll become of you two. best of luck to you as the feeling is mutual about wanting a g-friend so i know how you feel, kinda |
| never mind im colorblind. | |

I can barely walk to the city let alone run there lol. Girls don't care about fitness and physique. I think hygene and cleanliness are far more important. They like people who they think can offer them security and also make them laugh occasionally. They like to feel they are listened too aswell. |

Yeah I think there are quite a few things that girls hold in higher regard than fitness/physique. Confidence, hygeine, sense of humour, sensitivity to name a few. But your point about finding a hobby (running) and meeting someone who shares an interest is a good one (albeit one already made :P). That remains, in my opinion, the best way to meet a girl. Fitness and physique aren't going to win you a date by themselves, but it wouldn't surprise me if they'd help in most cases; particularly with extremely good looking women. |

I think it's a total myth. Who's Jessica Alba dating? I think I remember him being quite puny if memory serves. |

Well if the girl is into physical fitness chances are thats going to be a big boost, since common interests really help, but lets say the girl is into anime then if you like anime that gives you two something to talk about. Just talk, I'm gonna try to start conversation on Tuesday when I go see a play with people I went to school with, hopefully I don't screw up and for once get some interest that is if I dont let shyness and nerves get the best of me again |
