Syn and Omega; Evil Dragons

I get the difference in their slight physical appearance, but I don't get why they just put 7 circles on syn shenron's chest and named a different dragon just like that.

And also

His voice is what kind of interested me as well..omega's was more deep and demonic..If any of you know

what types of voice selections they used to make those dragons sound like that, please tell me.

In the Japanese version, "Syn" and "Omega" were just Yī Xīng Lóng and Super Yī Xīng Lóng. The "Omega" name was (arguably) put there to make it clear -- he was THE last villain th characters would face, he was the strongest -- he was the Alpha AND the Omega.

All I know for voices is that Chris Sabat did Omega's voice (as well as, I'm sure, distortion), while Bob Carter did Syn's normal voice.
