When was Mr. Boo held up on the Kai planet? I thought he just stayed in Mr. Satan's house until they could wish everybody to forget about Boo.

And Super 13 had to happen before they Saiyans entered the RoSaT, because Trunks still has short hair and a sword, and Gohan isn't a SSj.

Apparently Daizenshuu 7 says Movie 13 takes place in Age 774, the same Age that the Boo events take place. Huh.

Yeah, I guess so. And unless you think Goku got at least 2x stronger in 6 months of just Earth training, he couldn't be stronger than Gohan in the movie.

Oh, and they used the third wish to make everyone forget about Boo after they killed Kid Boo, so I don't think he stayed on the Kai planet in the manga.

I've always had trouble working out the movies, like where they fit into each saga and each timeline, it confses me in ways.
I have come to my own conclusion that the movies have nothing to do with the series, they are just side projects with small fights, etc ;)

KaioKen times FOURTY BILLION

None of the movies fit in the timeline.

Fusion reborn makes even less sense in the timeline as Vegeta says his afterlife sucks. So he's in hell for being bad. But then he's brought back to life by Porunga because he's a good guy?
LOL WUT

And all that stuff you guys talked about.

But I love Jenemba he's hilarious. I love that movie so much.
The zombies and the nazis are just so weird and stupidly goofy.
What's Pikon?

Meh, who really cares lol? It was an awesome movie and just think about that.
These are all movies, and after Movie 3 they stopped trying to fit in chronologically, simply because there was no time gaps in which they could have happened. And in my opinion they could have maked another movie during the 3 years training for the Androids.
The blonde girl with the black lips turned to Valkyrie.
"We know," she said. "We've seen the future. We know you're going to kill the world..."

Release it Gohan! Release everything! Remember all the pain he's caused... The people he's hurt... NOW MAKE THAT YOUR POWER!!!!

vegeta was not in hell for being evil, he was in hell for all the evil things he had done, but he was no longer evil, and the wish brought back everyone except those who were really evil. so all the kinda bad people got to come back

Now before i even start let me say.... I LOVE FUSION REBORN!!!!!!!!! Its probably my favourite movie.
But i watched it today and noticed flaws with the time line and such.

Firstly I'll point out the fusion.
When they turn into "Veku"(as stated by one of the Kai's as a joke) they survive the 30 minutes luckily and get another chance to fuse. Whats really a plot hole however is that somehow miraculously they dont need to wait an hour to fuse again, and fuse as soon as they separate into Gogeta. I geuss i wasnt paying attention all those times i watched it before or forgot i noticed it?
They could have easily dragged out another 5-10 minutes of waiting to fuse again to make it longer and have more action.

Now the time line...
We all agree its when Goku comes back after his day on Earth right? If thats so then Gohan should be on the Supreme Kai's planet training with the Z sword right? Yet he's on Earth and everyone isnt sad about him being dead cause he's there with them? And Majin Buu is NOWHERE to be seen in the movie? He isnt having fun killing all the dead?

Everyone acts as if Majin Buu doesnt exist except Goku states to Janemba "You should be proud, only Majin Buu has pushed me this far in battle before". Not even King Kai...he mentions absolutely nothing about him. Only one is Goku, Vegeta to considering the fact he died trying to kill Buu.

And the fact that Goten and Trunks have mastered the fusion technique? In the main story more or less Goku went to Gohan straight away as soon as he returned. Yet their having another Other world Tournament.
So it might be possible that they mastered it given the principles of Movie 12 ,but they wouldnt have achieved SSJ3 cause Super Buu cant be around otherwise there would be no one alive.

There might be more..but is what i said right? If im wrong in any way please correct me.

And take into account im not trying to offend Movie 12, I LOVE IT!, i just wanna talk about it cause i tend to watch it more than the rest.
But there are some parts of the film that shows it could take place after the Kid Buu saga like Gotenks being able to use Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack since he never used that technique in the Buu saga it was when he was training in the ROSAT where he learned new techniques and transformations (SSj3) and he had to fight Super Buu. And with Gohan on earth eating with friends and family living in a time of peace when theres no villains no monsters terrorizing the city which looks like it would happen after Kid Buu's defeat (since everyone on earth seems to be fine) and before Goku and Vegeta arrive back on earth

@ Soldier223 I feel like some other movies fit in the timeline as well. Doesn't Wrath of the Dragon (Movie 13) also fit in the timeline well? I think that one fits, as well as the Garlic Junior one, the first Cooler Movie, the first Broly Movie, and like you said the Bojack one. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Ok, let me rephrase my earlier statement. If you know your DBZ and can do a little estimation work, you CAN, fit the movies into their respective increments along the series plot, but there will be contradictions that make you rethink its placement just as you think you've got it figured out. Like Movie 10...best placement is sometime before the World Tournement, because Videl is flying around and everybody is the correct age before the Buu saga starts. Or the Tree of Might. Obviously after the Saiyan saga right before they head off to Namek right? Because Goku knows Kaio-ken and the Spirit Bomb, which he only just learned from King Kai, and had premiered these new attacks in the fight with Vegeta. But how can this fight be? Goku should be layed up in the hospital still, and almost as soon as he leaves the hospital hes heading off to Namek. His friends had already left for Namek so they wouldnt have been around to help out as shown in the Movie. There was simpily no time for them to have fought Turles. But thats the best placement. Im not saying you cant put the Movies in their correct timeframes, im saying its difficult to accuretly place them because of continuty errors that would heavily contradict each other. But write me back with a reply please, or anybody else who has some input, always enjoy a competitive debate with like minded people...reason we're here in the first place right?
Tree of Might The movie takes place after Goku, Krillin and Gohan returned from Namek, early in the three years the Z Fighters are training to prepare for the Androids. All of the Z Fighters are alive, with Yamcha's gi back having the King Kai symbol to support that they were killed during the Saiyan Saga and resurrected at the end of the Namek Saga. Also, Goku is able to increase his Kaio-ken up to 10 fold, which was not possible until he got to planet Namek to defeat Frieza.

The resident GT fan!

Well I read at the link you posted tagt dbz films follows the manga mega false lol ^_^
As for topic about waiting for the fusion,if you remember same happened at GT when SSj4 Goku and Vegeta tryed to fuse nothing was mention about 1 hour waiting those are non-canon stuff so it makes sense also the movies are like alternate universes and in this universe many things could happen such as tye kids bp mastering fusion Gohan not getting died etc
