I wasn't talking about the Sonic on the Dreamcast or Gamecube which seems to be the one you're refering too. (Young people phh) The real, pure Sonic the Hedgehog games were on Sega Mastersystem and Sega Genesis/Megadrive. (It had different names) My parents used to be up all night on Sonic 2. It was the first game I ever played. Allthough Sonic Adventure is a classic, I do admit that it is a brilliant game and the sequal's good too. I still love the originals. Sonic 1 being my favourite.

...I'm young and proud of it.

The oldest Sonic game I know is Sonic the Hedgehog, which is why I assumed you were talking about that one. :P

Yeh the first ever Sonic game was Sonic the hedgehog. You can't really get stuck though so that's why I thought you were talking about another version. You just go to the right as much as you can lol. If you can't go to the right anymore you can usually go to the left lol. Right, jump over some platforms, wall, roll through it, keep going right past platforms, spikes, bad guys, run past the flag and end of lvl. That's a brief description of lvl 1 :)

For some reason, I couldn't figure out where to go. I don't know why...

Eh, I'll go back and beat that game some day.

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

I have the original Sonic downloaded onto my Xbox 360. I've never been a big fan of it though, got broed of it pretty quickly.

I have never been a fan of any of the sonic games. Just never been able to get into them.

I haven't gotten all the stars on Mario 64 because of the horrible controls on the DS version.

I actually managed to get all of the stars in the DS version. Most of them were with Yoshi. Because I could do that. :P

Only times I didn't use Yoshi was when I couldn't. Aka, I needed Wario or something for the mission.

I used to love Wario. He was like the badass version of Mario. Which I think was the point. Screw jumping on the bad guys heads, just plow straight through them lol. Those games were hard.

Now I want to get all the stars just so I don't look like a major noob. I have all 242 stars on Galaxy 2 that counts right? RIGHT?

I used to love Wario.
Oddly enough, I used to love Waluigi. XP

@Cooly: ...Sure. It counts...I guess. Now get them all in Sunshine / Galaxy. :P

I thought I had them all on Galaxy but I didn't realise that getting all the stars as Luigi unlocked one final star, making the total 121.

And on Sunshine I can't remember if I have them all or not. Probably not as I hate getting 100 coins for 1 star. Or is that just Mario 64 lol

I used to love trying to do that lol. Not on Mario Sunshine though. I loved all the colours and shiny things but that game was REALLY repetative and lack luster. Plus the killing bad guys with a water gun had allready beren done years earlier with Rosco Mcqueen I believe. Except on that you had to put out fires.

I didn't mind collecting coins; it just got old and tedious really fast.

Super Mario Sunshine was my first Gamecube game, so I kinda have a bias towards it. I do agree that it got repetitive, but it's not like Galaxy did any better. At least there was no 100-coin stuff in Galaxy. Or blue coins. Man, I hated those blue coins. >_>

Putting out fires has been done in more than one Mario game, if my knowledge serves me correctly. :o

Which would you guys say is the hardest star to get in Mario 64?

I'm going with Rainbow Ride's 100 coins.

I wouldn't remember. I know that the Rainbow ride is a ***** though. That I can remember. That music used to drive me mad and really piss me off at the same time too. If you locked somebody in a room and played only that, I guarantee they would be driven insane after 38 hours. I always thought the bowser stages were pretty hard too. *****ing fire.
