What are you currently learning? 2.) What steps are you taking to achieve your career goals? 3.) Where do you see yourself in 5 years? I'll start: 1. I'm currently attending Texas State University where I am learning about Electrical Engineering. At the second I'm retaking some advanced math classes to get a better grade point average. 2. After I complete my degree I plan on finding a great job that i'll be happy with for 25+ years. I may or may not go back to school during that time to complete a third degree that will ultimately help me with my career, the third degree would be in programming. 3. I see myself with a good job, possibly still attending University close to home, with a nice house and a dog. I will more than likely be married before then.

Fire fox Favourite Manga Gantz	So what's your first degree? 1) I'm currently going for a degree in criminal justice. After one more semester i'll have my associates degree then go to a 4 year school. 2) This is a difficult one for me. I have done research into jobs that i would like. Such as being a criminal investigator, police officer, FBI agent and or profiler, criminologis,t and so on, but right now i have a few physical problems that would make it impossible for me to become a police officer or FBI agent which will also prevent me from becoming an investigator or fBI profiler. So i've been looking toward criminology a lot lately. 3) No lie, i was just thinking about this yesterday and i don't have a clue.

Yo Posts: 5,563 Group: Retired Staff Member #2,705 Joined: October 5, 2007 Gender Not Specified Country United Kingdom Favourite Manga The Story of Light the Legend by Cal/DBZF Invasion! by Copy_Ninja	1) I have just finished A-Levels and got the grades I wanted, so as of now i'm just working to raise up money for my gap year. 2) I have 2 career goals in mind, one of them is to play proffesional football, I currently play in the Welsh premier league but have been out on loan for the whole of this season, if I don't break into the team next season then this goal is unattainable. My other career goal is getting a job i'd be happy with, I can be a little laid back sometimes with looking for a job i'd be happy with. For University i've considered Law and Psychiatry, but I doubt i'd be able to stay focused enough, the same goes with other interests like Engineering and doing a course to train as an Architect. I am doing a learning course from home but other than this not much atm. 3) Hopefuly just finishing University, having chosen what career i'm going to try and pursue.

I know a guy who took the exam last Thursday to become a state trooper here in Texas. Said it was some intense stuff. We'll see if he gets in later or not.

Chrome Favourite Manga Ai Kora	Nice topic idea 1) I'm currently learning Advanced Higher English and RMPS in High School, as well as Higher Biology and History. Higher Psychology starts after the holidays, I can't wait. 2) Well, I think that first I have to choose a career lol. I've narrowed the careers I'm currently considering down to Psychiatry or Zoology, but the latter is isn't as much a career as a field, so I think I shall be aiming towards the former. So uh I 've chosen necessary subjects for that field, not much else yet. I think my next step is to start working towards that career outside of school too. 3) Hopefully, in University studying the courses I want to (which may change from my current ideals). A more far-fetched extension of that is living abroad, in either New Zealand or Canada with my brother, studying in a University. Me and my brother have discussed that lot.
	Call me a safe bet, I'm betting I'm not I'm glad that you can forgive, only hoping as time goes, you can forget

Firefox Favourite Manga Dragonball	1) I am currently learning the guitar and apparently making good progress. 2) I don't really have any career goals. I'm perfectly happy with staying unemployed. It's far less stressful. 3) I'll probably be where I am now to be honest. However, if my guitar skills get good enough then I could go really far in life. The same applies to the novel I'm wrting. If I ever manage to finish that then it's possible it could be a best seller and I could be quite well off. Those are just unrealistic fantasy's at the moment though. Could probably happen if I worked hard enough though.

Posts: 4,635 Group: Retired Staff Member #832 Joined: November 6, 2005	1) I recently finished a two year Art & Design course which I did minimal work for as I really didnt like the course soon after the 2nd year started. 2) I want to do something like Games Design so I plan to go to a different college to do a Digital & Interactive course in about 1 or 2 years. 3) I will hopefully be at University doing something like Games Design.

I'm not really learning anything in particular at the moment, but I've learnt over the past year that I will have to sacrifice things if I want to complete my degree and that I need to plan things better this time round. 2.) What steps are you taking to achieve your career goals? I want to get into professional writing. I'm starting an English degree and trying to practice different types of writing by Blogs, forums etc. I've also e-mailed some people already in the business for advice. 3.) Where do you see yourself in 5 years? If all goes to plan, I'll have completed my degree and will have just gotten my foot in the professional writing door working at a magazine, newspaper or website. Good idea for a topic.
