Anybody still play this? I say still because there's not nearly as many people on it as there used to be and it is starting to become really dated. Especially graphics wise. I've just got back into it recently after not playing it for a few months and I feel like a total noob again. Can't even remember my way around the instances anymore. I have a level 31 human warrior. I thought it would be a really challenging class further on in the game compared to Mage or Priest which I usually favour. |

my friends got a level 70 paladin named Gluardian and he still plays. He's gonna get the new expansion coming out too. I don't think I can play without getting addicted (I've tested this out before....) and so I refuse to ever get the game, out of fear of losing my soul to it. I liked warhammer online a little more actually, but was saddened by the fact it wasn't maintained as well so it died rather quickly, despite it having more potential and looking much better. I think Kotetsu still plays, he's posted picks from WOW a couple times and has mentioned it in a couple posts. |

I just recently quit though. Managed to bring two characters up to 80 seen here: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Shadowmoon&cn=Kamalic http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Shadowmoon&cn=Ilyth I thought I wasn't going to have the money to pay the 3 month subscript, but then I found out I was becoming a manager at my job. Still, I have a lot less time to play because I have classes and work 30+ hours a week. It's better for me this way as it's a complete addiction. Also I never was in any raid groups because i'm not keen to popularity contests within games. And when I did get into a raid group with my ret-paladin, I did so little dps that people would kick me out with no advanced warning. But I take great pride in making my main (paladin) look similar in the face to myself. lol In the game now being a tank means you get instant queue to most instances. Meaning you can literally spend your time never doing a single quest in the game and just leveling with instances. So you have a great advantage in leveling with your warrior. |

I'm at the stage now where there aren't many interesting instances for me to do. Only Gnomeregan *Snores* and Scarlett Monastery Graveyard *Snores louder* Stupid random dungeon option which gets me great equipment only seems to be putting me in the Scarlett Graveyard for the minute so I am focusing on regular quests for now. Haven't done any leveling today though as I've been assisting my friend who's a level 23 mage and a total noob. Not that I'm the greatest player ever

I'm almost lvl 72 I give it another two weeks before I finally reach 80. Then my guild is going to help me get top tier armour. After that I suppose I should work on getting some achievements. Get every profession to max and then not play it again till cataclysm comes out. EVERYTHING CHANGES!!!!!!

I started playing World of Warcraft in October or November of 2009. At first, I thought it was cute and enjoyed playing it in limited bursts. I eventually would suffer a bout of depression because of my father walking out on me yet again, and I began to spiral downwards. I became hooked to the game, instead of playing a couple times a week, I would go home and play every day for eight or nine hours. The girl I loved slipped away from me, my grades plummeted from a 3.8 in first quarter Sophomore year to a terrifying 1.5 GPA in the fourth quarter (overall I hover just under a 3.0 now). I failed Algebra II. I lost friends. I lost a lot of things I really cared for. I stopped going to the Gym. I'm in no way blaming the game for my life falling apart, but, it definitely dented it. I kept telling myself I would quit. I was going to quit. I never ended up quitting. One night, I was playing in late May and I kept talking ***** about people during a Heroic ICC 10 raid (I ended up with a lvl 80 Night Elf Warrior tank with a gear score around 6300 before I quit, and being a Kingslayer). I started crying after I got yelled at on there, combined with my outside lifes' troubles, things had finally caught up with me and even my little virtual fantasy had been twisted and contorted by my pain. My confidence was shattered, I quit World of Warcraft that night. Last month, I took a hammer and smashed my discs --- all of them. I gave my authenticator account key to my best friend who is flying to Europe for a year and buried the discs in the backyard. I've slowly been making my recovery. Pelador, if you have any emotional issues, history of addiction with you or in the family, quit World of Warcraft. Now. Not later. Now. Save your money, too. I've told you this multiple times, this game was an accessory to my destruction for a year. Why do you think I left DBZ Forums? I was always playing World of Warcraft. I had nothing else. I still crave to play sometimes. The raiding is addicting, the gear and strategies is riveting. I work now to build my friendship back up with this girl I believe I am in love with, mending my friendships and going on with my life. I wasted about ninety days on World of Warcraft. That's over two thousand hours. Think of the sleep I missed out on, the homework, etc... it compiles. All time that could have been better spent. Think on it. Quit this game. It's just not worth it. I found my old guy on WoW Heroes. He had a second 264 ring instead of that 245 Clutch of Fortification and some other better gear that I wasn't wearing when I last logged off, but, he was extremely beastly geared and I was one of the best tanks on Proudmoore. Means nothing now. http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Proudmoore&cn=Necifix Edited by Sam, Jul 31 2010, 08:56 AM.

Well my parents are still together and have that bond that elderly couples usually have. So I don't have any problems there. I haven't had a girlfriend in years so that's not an issue either. I never had any friends before Warcraft so that's not a problem. I also don't have to worry about grades so that's not an issue either. I never play it past 1:00am either unless I'm allready in a dungeon. I don't think i'm addicted to it yet. I left ICC 25 man after the first boss the other day to go to the cinema with my family. Now I think I have to wait a week before I can attempt it again. That boss was cool. If I was addicted I would have chosen to stay at home and finish the raid. No idea what my gear score is. As DPS I don't have a single item under lvl 200. As a tank on the other hand my gear is still lagging behind. The game is so in favour of Paladins and mages it's unfair. Warriors rule. Oh and as dps I currently have 15k armour, 26k health and 32.77% crit. |

That looks like Ironforge. God I hate that place. I haven't been on this game in a month. I got pretty sick of it. The new Metroid's out soon so I don't think I'll be going back to it anytime in the near future either. |

I recently defeated The Lich King in heroic mode with my Orcish Deathknight, and I gotta say I kinda felt emotional when Arthas dies during the cinematic after all those memories of playing Arthas in Warcraft III back in the early 2000s. Still waiting for Cataclysm to come out this year.
