Okay, Since there hasn't been a thread about any VN's and i know that some people have seen them.

I've decided to make this thread dedicated to that most gracious of Japanese culture (besides the obvious Anime and Manga :P) VISUAL NOVELS!

Let me just get started by asking the question that is on most peoples minds "What is a visual novel?"

Well, my friend. A visual novel can be divided into several categories but I'll give the two most basic descriptions:

A) A visual novel is a manga like game with music, voices, colorful visuals and a compelling plot. (Safe for work, school or anywhere!)

and

B) A visual novel is a game like a story with visuals, music and a couple, if not a bit of sex scenes in there. (NSFW/S!)

So, remember the bits in the brackets for later because that's how I'm gonna brand the VN's that i recommend for newbies to them or anybody who has seen a VN before!

Ever17 -The Out of Infinity-:

Set in a underwater theme park called "LeMU" Ever17 tells the story of 5 girls and 2 boys trapped in said theme park and they have 6 days before the place collapses in on itself as they learn more about themselves and the mysterious LeMU.

Fate/Stay Night:

Set in modern day Japan. Fate/Stay Night takes place during The Holy Grail War as Shirou Emiya and Tohsaka Rin fight against 5 other master's and their servants in order to obtain said Holy Grail and their hearts desire.

Those are my reccomendations. Now that i have done that. DISCUSS!

I had to remove the links because they lead to pirating sites. We don't really like promoting those things around these forums whether it's TV Shows, Movies, MP3s, or in this case Visual Novels, etc.

With that said though, feel free to continue discussion on the topic. We just prefer not to be linked to other sites to download them. Thanks!

You are calm and reposed, let your beauty unfold

These sound very interesting. I'll have to keep a close eye out for these sort of things in future.

I'm glad that you can forgive, only hoping as time goes, you can forget
