Whenever I have a BBQ, it always tastes roughly the same as if it were cooked indoors. So I don't understand why anyone would have a BBQ in the first place. I prefer Chinese and Italian food anyday of the week. |

Believe it or not I never had a BBQ in my whole life, so I wouldn't know. I'd guess just being outside with friends and family makes it all more enjoyable, no? |

It depends how and what you are grilling. Unless you're talking about just the sauce because then I don't care for it either. However if you're talking about grilling then there is a BIG difference than cooking inside. Unless you use a propane grill. I'm a charcoal guy. Propane just doesn't give meat the right flavor when you cook it. Charcoal has that smoky flavor that you just can't fake. |

I like last minute beach BBQ's, when at around 7 someone phones and say's there having a BBQ, you get to the beach and there's two disposable BBQ, 1 pack of 8 burgers and a pack of 6 hot dogs and a million people. I like the goofing around playing sports and listening to music that comes with it. |

I think with BBQs it's not the food but the people and occasion that makes it fun. Sure the food's great (I love BBQ meat) but it's mainly a fun time in the hot weather with your friends, listening to music and having a laugh.

I love BBQ's; the food, the festivities, the (usually nice) weather, etc... it all just makes it a really special little occasion. And the food alays tastes unique if done right. BBQ ribs are like the best tasting things ever. |

I love BBQ burgers. I remember having a massive eating binge at one BBQ and must have had like 7 burgers, 4 hot dogs and various pieces of chicken and the like. |

BBQ is a Texas staple. There is a smell and a type of feeling that comes with being outside and grilling. I'm going to act like Temphis when I say, "it's a personal good feeling, and unless you experience it like I do you won't understand." LoL, I'm starting to understand what a feel good feeling really is. |

I'm really surprised you've never had a BBQ Kris, it sounds like a totally you sort of thing. Well not the meat part, but the music, friends and general good time part. |

Even vegetables taste better grilled over charcoal. Mushrooms, asparagus, peppers, you name it! All delicious. |

What HustLa said. Especially cherry tomatoes and mushrooms. They taste fantastic over the grill marinated in something. I suppose it's just not her thing since 90% of the time a type of meat is grilled. |
