I'd just say ignore it and walk away, but that's not always going to work. How about letting someone know what's happening. Someone who is looking out for your best interest, such as a cop or someone who can make that difference. Cyber bullying can stop simply by blocking that person and ignoring them. You don't have to stand up for yourself on the internet because well, it's just the internet. Fighting back just makes you look like a big fool. You make me right when I say humans are naturally violent, especially when you guys say things like that. "we's gonna go and pop that motha cuz all he does is talk smak. F that lil bich." Really... In the REAL world xeC, there are no such things as bullies. You might want to examine yourself, and who you hang out with and then tell me why there are bullies in your life if it's true what you say. I don't have any enemies. I don't know what a bully is. I did in high school, but i didn't take care of the problem myself. I ignored it, and they eventually stopped. Because a bully feeds off attention. Give them attention like McEsse so intelligently suggested, and you will still have one.

In high school I used to get bullied, people would throw me in the locker until one day in class I gave a guy a beatdown. I got suspended for a week, but that is aside the point. I was littler then everyone so when people tried to robe me, jump me, etc i had to fight and prove myself to them, Thats bullying when people harass you and try to steal from you..You can't just walk away.I hate when people think name calling is bullying its not its just life. Deal with it!

Deal with it! I don't believe Bullying is life. The situation you described is something totally different from bullying, if you ask me. That's more of an act of desperation in order to survive. If you were faced with those conditions, I'm sure you would do whatever it takes to live. Anyone would, I think. The tormenting acts students to in high school is basically a craving for attention, as others have said. If you ignore them, they'll eventually move on to another victim, because they're not receiving any response. Or, you could just get the point across by being forceful. As Mc Esse did. Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga not sure (havn't read too many), but if you think there is one I would like, please tell me.	Bullys are normally as Kotetsu described, mean/desperate attention seekers, that if ignored, will try to find a different victim. however, violent bullys fall into a different category. Sometimes they are so past feeling, or sphycologically screwed up, that they feel justified in bullying others, or even like it's there job to be violent and rude to others. these people cannot be "ignored" because they don't care if they are getting attention, they do what they do because they believe they either get temperary satisfaction out of it, and thrive off of causing pain to others. these kinds of bullys need to be reported, and dealt with. that being said, I'm lucky to have never had a problem with that kind, and the other kind I scarcely had a problem with, but there were a few bullys that decided they would try to pick on me. they stopped over time, because of my lack of reaction to them.

IE8/Firefox Favourite Manga Bleach, Ai Kora	Before 3rd year of High School, I was that unsporty, unsocial person that could only avoid being bullied by being the class clown, and I wasn't that good at it and I was surrounded by people that were good at it, so it wasn't that great. Then some guy spat on the back of my head when he cycled past, the next day I floored him. And I've not been treated like crap in school since. I'm not proud of my reaction, but it worked. That's all I'm going to say.

I have matured since then I am now friends with many of the kids I once picked on. Not so much with the kids who picked on me. Hell I don't want to be friends with those losers! all they care about is smokin up and doing coke. They are retards! I would have loved to just break their faces in but that would land me in jail so I think you should just ignor it and tell them to F off and get a life and grow up. Trust me it works. Although I do get what you're trying to say. I'll admit that I too was a bit of a bully, but I now get on with most of the people I was nasty too. And I'm glad of that too, it'd be crap if I hadn't had the chance to redeem myself for being a unpleasant. P.S. You shouldn't bypass the word filter like that, it'll land you in some trouble. Yeah there was this one parent who didn't want her daughter talking to this other kid, so she when online and told him all kinds of disturbing things. The following day, the boy hanged himself... I don't remember where that happened, but it was a few months ago... I saw it in a article. I think it's nonsense. It's funny if it's joking around, but that just shows how immature people can be. Committing suicide is a bit too extreme. Someone shouldn't kill themselves because some jerk was calling them names on the internet.

Not for attention but because I get pleasure out of winding people up, upsetting people. I rarely got bullied myself. I use Psychology to make people think twice about harming me. This guy was really angry with me once and I have no idea why. He was ready to go for me. I just stood back and stared him down and then he just stormed off. That's not a good example of psychology but it is an example of the effect I can have on people.
